Courtney, I needed this more than you know!!! Thank you for giving out the sauce!!!! It's been a journey for sure getting to where I am and having to be grateful through the process of what God is showing up! Thinking you're going to go into healthcare one way but then to see what is on the other side of healthcare and how you can still make a difference and hone in on your skills! Jeremiah 29:11
Thank you so much for your honesty and sharing. I am currently working for healthcare company checking licenses and policies and going for my master in healthcare. I make 43k a yr and living in TX. I prefer to make more but I’m happy with the experience thus far.

Thank you so much for this! I've decided to go back to school for Healthcare Informatics and this was so encouraging and inspiring! I've stayed in Higher Education because its what I have experience in although I've always wanted to work in the healthcare field. This really gave me the push I needed to stop questioning myself and just do it.

Awesome growth! I feel you on the over-embellished job titles. Cashiers are now called “Customer Experience Ambassadors”. Seriously?! There’s an urgent care practice here in Raleigh who posted a position for a “Patient Care Advocate”. I was geeked because I thought I would be working on behalf of families to be their mouthpiece Or to work alongside the ombudsman Or maybe challenge counterproductive policy, etc. THESE effin people’s job duties included “Be the first face the patient sees to greet cheerfully” and “Answer phone calls in a timely manner”, etc. I was so pissed. Um, they wanted a front desk clerk or receptionist. Hellooo…If you want me to pick navel lint from an ant’s belly, say so. If I’m supposed to recycle bat piss, say so. Tell me you want me to polish a door knob if that’s what you want. Ugh! I’m so happy you finished grad school. I walked this past May. Yay us!
I’m so happy that I went on to watch part 2. I love the fact that you aren’t scared to move on to your next opportunity when you feel like it’s time. I don’t like the term “the grass isn’t always greener” sometimes… it is!!! Thanks for the inspiration & motivation Courtney 🥰

This was definitely for ME. Thank you for your transparency.
Im late but am just NOW seeing this video (pt. 1&2) and I want to THANK you SO much for being so honest & detailed. I’ve seen a couple videos from you in the past & just assumed you had a straight shot with school & careers (my own mistake) & thought Health admin was out of my league and should go the clinical route as a nurse/PA etc. However, This video broke a stereotype of you in my head & it was beyond relatable since your story is similar to my own. This was very inspiring as I’m finishing up my undergrad and want to go for my MHA but was not sure what jobs to seek out. So, hunny I’m subscribed now‼️ -& will be watching many more videos. Also, very awesome of you to respect your child privacy. ❤️ Wishing you & your family many more blessings! ❤️
Wow, your story hit! So inspirational, I know God lead me to you to keep faith in my journey. Thank you💛
Thank you! I needed to hear this. I have been indecisive about which graduate school to attend for my MHA after being in the medical field for 13 years and I just know I’m ready to be and do so much more within it. Submitting my applications tonight! 🙏🏻👩🏻💻
