Dipenji the force behind forest creators has planted 500 trees using this method at my farm and believe me in just 12 months we started to see a variety of butterflies and birds at the site. The method is magic.

It takes so little to simply allow the Earth to heal herself. Yet, patience and ecocentrism are oh so challengign for far too many. We can do it and we must do it.

Its the same thing that you would put a new born Human baby among the Pigs & Cows, Same way we have to create a barrier for these baby Saplings till they grow tall enough to be left on their own.

there is one problem with your explanation sir...a climax forest is made up of 'shade loveing species'....those are species that require shade in their early sapling stage....that is the reason how a climax forest can sustain itself...because young regeneration can keep happening under the shade of the older trees...in the Miyawaki method a forest of light loving species is created but it cannot sustain itself sustainable in the long run, because no natural regeneration can happen ...what one must do to create a real climax forest is to go back to a miyawaki plantation after like 5 to 10 years, create openings in-between and plant shade lowing species....after that it will become truly sustainable...
