I know this is really old, but if you want a quick and easy craft to do, try picking up origami. Square paper shouldn’t be that hard to come by so it’s pretty cheap too. there are tons of patterns you can look up online and it gives you that feeling of making something with your hands

okay... this doll turned out SO! FREAKING! BEAUTIFUL! oh my god, I don't even care that the antler gems don't light all the way, that's nothing compared to how amazing this doll turned out, even with the number of body mods. also, not gonna lie, at 5:45 when all the parts were sawed apart, the lower half of the doll looks reminds me of Peridot from Steven Universe back when she had her limb enhancers.

I’d like to point out that you don’t necessarily have to water down your acrylics depending on your materials. I also use liquitex for the same reasons that you do, I’ve been painting with acrylics for many years now and they’re my favorite brand by far, but I use natural true hair paintbrushes (mostly horse hair) and because of the soft, thin bristles, it doesn’t leave stroke marks in the acrylic. Just pointing this out in case someone else out there is impatient af like me but paints enough to invest a bit in real hair paintbrushes :) then again, I know that real hair brushes can be quite a bit of money, so if you prefer to work with synthetic, that’s perfectly fine! Like Katherine said, if you do a couple watered down layers you’ll get the same effect. Also, bit of a pro tip for anyone painting with acrylics; you can use a hair dryer to dry your paint in just a few seconds. Just be careful if you’ve got a particularly thin or watery paint that could be pushed around, but normal acrylic won’t move an inch
