It's looking good Paul

I've had problems with reji decals cracking and spliting with ordinary upol clear and that's with usual air drying, I now clear cote bodies with hicote spray matt lacquer first before I gloss cote and its a much better result

Paul model is looking good ,I am sure it will look great and up to your normal quality when finished. Thanks for trying out the dehydrator it has saved us all a lot of money.

Wow hate dehydrator cracked your hard work but as you said you learned something ,But as always the car still looked outstanding ( if it was me I would have still been jumping up and down how it came out) but I do see were your upset a bit. Build looks good Paul. Thanks for the info and update on how the dehydrator worked out. I was on the fence about one but like don't need the speed and don't want to risk my kits so will stick with the true and tried air drying.

Did your kit come with the official HB decals? I’m worried that I see on the box art and some videos it shows a blank logo, I assume for copyright purposes. I really hope I get the real HB logo. If you sourced the decals elsewhere please let me know!

Why did you go away from the Pro-clear 2K? The Subaru build was perfect. I've started building this kit with Michelle Mouton RAC Rally livery. Much better and iconic than the Buffum livery. Ps have you got any spare sets of Tamiya gravel tyres for sale as these rims in this kit shouldn't have tarmac slick tyres?

Hi Andy. The gravity is a much better quality 2k gives a much better finish. I need to find tyres for my build at the moment too lol

@@InternationalScaleModeller Just out of curiosity how is the gravity better Paul? I as a laymen would have thought the auto grade pro stuff would be the better overall product, no stress if you don`t get time to write back. cheers mate :)

The gravity will be a high grade automotive 2k, compared to the cheaper pro range the out the airbrush finish of the Gravity is alot better with much more clarity, which is why I made the switch :)
