Hey there, a couple of months back i embarked on journey. I wanted to rebuild my old mercedes benz w123 .Its a 1982 ,M102 Engine, petro . 4speed manual
Alittle background on the car. Its been my daily drive for years Now . Till last year all was well then started having issue with the car smocking too much. Changing seals, rings etc wouldnt save it. we decided to do. Whole new engine. The original engine was a 200 m102 carburated. For the swap, i went with a 2.3l m102 carb from a W124. Kept my original gearbox as had a good ratio. This video covers the engine build . Hope you enjoy.
