I went for a test drive in a 240 D today and was shocked by the smell. The seats were not uncomfortable but very different compared to modern car seats. I enjoyed driving it though. The engine sounds great. The car shifts well. I don't know whether the W123 is still worth it nowadays.

Probably around $6-$8 Grand. Any more depending on miles which obviously aren’t that low is a rip off. Old Mercedes are worth money if there mint. Most aren’t. So nobody really wants to dish out almost $10 Grand when they could buy new. New is worst. Rather have this beast. :D
Looks like the bottom half of car has been resprayed!
