Part 1 l The Timberland Hills l Hike & Learn Program l Quiot, Pardo - Cebu City
As the government restrictions eased up a bit and after a year of limited movement, my children and I decided to join an outdoor activity - The "Hike & Learn Program" organized by a group of professional mountaineers from CEBU OUTDOOR ENTHUSIASTS.
We will explore the mountains of Quiot, Pardo to Jaclupan, Talisay; specifically in the mountain barangays where we are expected to learn the different native plants, trees, and birds that are endemic in Cebu which survived the ravages of time.
The trail was a bit difficult especially to beginners like us. But we made it through. And up there, we discovered what happened to the natural environment of what the locals call, TIMBERLAND HILLS.

Being a mountaineer myself, it is always relieving whenever you experience the freedom to freely breath, releasing all the toxins of the body as you reach the summit - telling you the real life story climbing the mountain to and fro just to reach the school in any season. NAA gyud usahay Kong dangug, mangaligid gyud.

Hahaha paig ang panit hilaw ang unod.. Bitaw pwd Raman mag uling kon mananum clag kahoy uy dli mamutol sa kabukiran maau byag clay nag tanum ky patuyang rag harvest.. Awa unsay ending sa lugar nga gitawag ug TIMBERLAND kogon ray nagpa bilin ilisan nlng nag KAKUGNAN ang name sa lugar hehe
