It is very stable in strong winds and the images are stabilized extremely well. For the most part the image quality is absolutely fine for most. Its portability and toughness are major advantages. Battery last 25 minutes just as it promises. My first drone and loving it.

I love the Bebop 2. the battery life is as advertised, very stable in strong winds. and to be honest i dont have an issue with the image quality. im not shooting movies or music videos and this does the job perfectly. Is it the best drone out? No, but for a starter , someone who wants something less toy and more gadget , this is what your are then looking for.

Why the fuck would you compare the bebop with the p4 4K, not even the same market

This is not a drone for commercial use. This is for the average person who likes it as a hobby. Wind resistance is bang on it will hold its own in winds up to 30-30 MPH although this is wind tunnel tested. I certainly would not try this with my own Bebop 2. IF you are looking for a great drone for a great price, that's fun but can get you some good video and stills ( nothing wrong with 14mp and 1080p vid ) then this is a good drone. Return to home feature very useful for beginners and its very forgiving in flight. Its not commercial use quality but its not far off, and there is not much that can compete with it in this price range. Im afraid your looking too hard for faults in a top quality drone. Just for the sake of it. MW Technology

It's worth mentioning the there is a GPS waypoint software you can add called Flightplan. This has allowed me to have very long distance flights and is really a very cool piece of software for cool videos. Another thing to be said that's positive is that it's a fun drone to fly around in. It's got really good speed and very stable flight.

I have a Bebop (1) and I agree with your cons list, wind is one of the biggest problems as it easily gets blown off course, WiFi signal loss is a problem too and the focus in direct sunlight isn't great, however I paid £279 for it new from Amazon so for what I paid I'm happy with it can do, I'm torn on my next Drone the new Yuneec Typhoon H could be the right choice

How do you connect the skycontroller to the drone and the tablet to the skycontroller and get maps to work on tablet to run flight plan waypoints? I can get everything hooked and connected but then the map for flight planning won't show up

Try fitting the strap to the controller so you don't have to hold it as well as operate the controls. This is why Parrot put the lovely soft strap in the packaging... so you can use it. If you think the wifi connection is sketchy, this is usually due to not putting your smartphone or tablet into airplane mode before you start using the drone. If you don't switch the wifi off on your phone, it will interfere with the skycontroller. Of course, if you do switch the wifi off, then you need to connect your smart device to the skycontroller using a cable, and this is the recommended method.

I got a drone for Christmas from my wife. Probably no more than $50-$80. Have enjoyed finding out how to fly something that has zero bells and whistles. In looking wider, I bumped into your review of the Parrot Bebop Drone, circa 2015 and I could not have found a more positive endorsement of a product. Your comments regarding the Parrot BePop enspired me to look in that direction. In looking in that direction, I discover a different world, one that with a bit of research, takes me through the whole gamut of toys, all the way to professional. I don't know your standing in the KZread community or the influence that you have. Generally the migration from inception to the first revision sees improvement to be lauded, but in your case, the introduction of the Bebop 2, sees a complete redaction of your thoughts on the original Bebop. I don't have any opinion or preference and reserve such, as to where my journey may end. But my major gripe with your review of the Parrot BeBop 2 is that, all of your gripes with the original have been addressed (other than the portability of the Sky Control, you can't site camera vulnerability because it was not an issue with the original). Every thing that you called into question in your original review of this product has been rectified and more. However, you have, in your review of the first update of the product, chosen to retrace your steps and basically slaughter the very features in the original that you so eloquently applauded.I wonder whether your original review is coloured by your own lack of knowledge of the space or by the fact that you denounce your original endorsement with the only DJI? I wonder what conversations have happened in that quarter to result in your review in such a poor light, in favour of only one alternative? How influential in the space are you? and how much did DJI wish you to put them in a better light?NR

Sorry, but DJI drones (primarily Phantom 3 Standard and up) destroy Bebop 2 for a cheaper price. Flight modes. Superior camera. Superior battery life. Higher attitude and distance. Etc.

Bebop 2 has less software flight restrictions, and it's side makes it easy to transport.

hi there, I just got my parrot bebop 2 and I cant seem to get clear footage through onto my ipad! it may be ur wifi connection that pixelates the footage. You should look nto getting a controller with a wifi extender

I personally love these drones! I love the shape, I really dislike all the dji except the inspire! I can say with out the sky controller you really are limited and for that I decided to buy one! I am amazed at the speed, the durability! at this point I have 3 bebop2 and 2 bebop1 and don't get me started on the A.R, Drone I have so many parts for those! brooks steff there was this kid in my neighborhood and was wondering why the joy stick didnt like spring down like the other on did on the remote and i said keep that down he said why i said just keep it down he kept it up he turned the drone remote on first then the drone and he cut 2 of his fingers and said it was my fault

Actually got several tiny cuts on my fingers and a nail partially chipped trying catching my bebop 2 on that very day. Was very painfull for 1 hour or so but I'm Ok now. Wouldn't recommend for smaller fingers such as 16 y/o kids ones.

18 m/s not 16. So pretty fast drone. In comparison the Dji phantom 3 goes up to 16 m/s

John Forbes problem is hes compareing the price class of the drone. The phantom 3 standard is even cheaper

Syma X5C with a GoPro strapped to it is way superior to bebop, for way less, and at least it comes with a controller -_-
