This jigsaw was just added to next week's Lidl catalogue where I live (Portugal) so I've been doing my research on whether I buy it or not. Your video was a positive surprise with all details and info that I needed in order to decided it. Thank you for that! I'll definetely buy it :)

I have one but have actually never used it yet. I have the parkside 20v jigsaw and usually end up grabbing that instead. Their 20v tools are actually pretty good, battery's fit 20v draper storm force with minor modifications

That's interesting Pat. I would like to get some 20v tools and batteries from Parkside as they seem like a bargain.

At 9:40 there is a plastic plate mounted on the saw plane and at 9:46 it is removed. Do you use to cut with that mounted on as well? Whats the difference?

Hi, the plastic cover plate is good if you want to cut something delicate that you don't want to mark. Generally I just use the saw on the metal plate.
