Sorry for the late reply. There's a variant where animal resources count as 2 resources for the "any" resource costs. So if a park costs 1 water, 1 green, and 4 of anything, the 4 of anything could be comprised of 2 animals, 1 animal and 2 non-animals, or 4 non-animals. It adds a little bit more priority on some of the exchange spaces when resources are so tight and your cap is so few in PARKS.
