To me, Ben and Leslie are the most well executed fictional couple in the history of TV/movie. They are sweet, realistic, respectful and really supportive of each other. I don't wish to get married, like ever, but if I did I would want my marriage to be like theirs. I love how there was no bs drama with them to keep the viewers interested, because their relationship was based on mutual respect and true love, and that was amazing to see. Once they got back together they never broke up again, and their relationship progressed amazingly from there. The execution was perfect. Applauses.

actually yeah, now that you mention it their relationship is healthy and ideal, while My favorite couple are Andy and April reason why is how different they are yet enjoys to be together like one loves everything and everyone the other one can count the things she loves with one hand, their love might be perfect but their relationship is not, as ben mention before they can be irresponsable and dirty, April alone can get things done, Andy can make her do fun and stupid things that can be dangeous. Ben and Leslie are responsiable adults and fun to be with. Who many yearns for such things.

Yeah I love Ben and Leslie because of the fact how realistic they are. Like with Jim and Pam, who are an amazing couple, it really isn't practical. It doesn't work that way in real life as cute as it is.

fmellark They’re my all-time favorite TV/Movie couple too. I honestly cannot think of a couple on TV that is more realistic, more honest, and more loving.
The show got so lucky. Amy and Adam have this insane chemistry that carries the show.
Ben and leslie are the perfect couple there is no argument
The only thing I was sad about was not getting to see Leslie overly plan and execute her perfect wedding. As much as their actual wedding was perfect (besides Jamm!) and I don't want to change it, at the same time, it missed out on the crazy organisational side of her. Although I guess the fact they organised it all in one night captures that more accurately, and the fact they care more about being married than the wedding is accurate. But I do often wonder what her 'perfect wedding' would look like :)
I want to adopt Amy as my mother.

I’m so glad Schur recognized that getting two characters together didn’t have to be the death knell of a series. This show is proof it can be done and done well, without resorting to unnecessary drama. It really is all in the execution. And as a result Ben and Leslie are still one of the best couples ever on screen.
Is it weird or is it just me but I look at Leslie/Ben's relationship and Andy/April's and Chris' with Anne Perkins and all I can think about is their age differences to each other. Ya know like it is odd to see how young Ann Perkins is around Chris aka Rob and how close Leslie and Ben are in real life.

+Anne Liesveld i think its because Anne/Chris never made any sense, and Chris was a bit of a jerk in their relationship. But you're so right, I just look at him and think he's the same age as my dad. The just dont make sense
