It's pretty astounding that Michael managed to win after his performance in the beginning. He spent half his time in this race on one obstacle and then breezed through all the ones other people had trouble with.

i mean Micheal has always had a very specific area of gaming he is good at, and this really fit into it. he is really good at rolling with unreasonable situations in games and just pushing through them with a combination of intuition and reflexes. what hinders him has always been mechanics he doesn't normally mess with or understand, in this case switching to first person actually helps with the upside down wall right, why i have no clue. if he can get a idea of what he is supposed to do he will pull it off. what why he is so good at platformers. and this was using a lot of the same skills.

@@Hevensdragon > switching to first person actually helps with the upside down wall right, why i have no clue GTA's third person land vehicle camera goes mad if you go upside down, and attempts to clip through the ceiling that you're driving on. That makes it so visually, it's very difficult to see what you're doing. Earlier, Michael stuck to the ceiling but drove off the edge because he couldn't properly see where he was going. When he succeeded in first person, he was able to see where he was going and turn so that he doesn't go off the edge. Going first person is generally a recommended thing when the track has frequent upside-down or complex loop portions.

@@randomaccount3364 no that part i get, but it seems like you also just have less force pushing you against the wall. Like the physics change ever so slightly.

This episode felt almost like they were in the office.

I’m glad Rage Quit is back, but I preferred the old intro.

The way to beat the boosts the road sign tells them, make a U-turn & go in reverse. Being in reverse cancels the forward boost.

Ryan even mentioned that he didn't get boosted while backing up, and then Jack didn't get boosted on the red ramp while also backing up, but nobody connected the dots :(

Soft: Grippy, Hard: Slidey.... not sure if that applies to these cars, but that is how skateboard wheels work.

That's how they work in racing too, and the F1 cars are supposed to simulate racing, so...yeah, they should be grippy. Matt telling them to do hard tires is shooting them all in the foot.

That was my thought when they couldn't do it

When they don't realize on the boost part the signs are telling you to go backwards because you don't activate boost pads in reverse, Ryan went backwards on accident and the signs clicked for me lmao

Ryan was half way to figuring it out when he realized that the boosts can be negated somehow, but he just didn't get there all the way

That sign is there to tell them to turn around and reverse. When you reverse the boosts don't activate. Ryan even went backwards at one point and just didn't notice he was fine.

I was really rooting for Gavin to win, then to just finish, then to just make it through that boost part

"'Cuz you said welcome to hell, and then I just kept driving." That is... that is maybe the most casually badass one-liner I have ever heard out of Michael. Or anyone else, really.

The fact that Gavin was already talking bad about his driving in game, then Jack roasted him even worse, all followed by Gavin flipping the car on the first jump and blowing himself up in less than 8 seconds made the video worth it

Gavin had the right idea with soft tires, they grip better at low speeds meaning that he spins less on take off from a dead stop.

Watching Micheal's frustration in this video compared to his happiness in Fall Guys is depressing to watch

They consistently amaze me with how little they know about this game despite playing it every week for the past 7 years. Not full-throttling on an incline, and the fact that you don’t get boosted if you’re in reverse. Gotta love it.

Feels like between the last checkpoint and the finish line, that that was Matt’s own Green Hell

I know that you guys hate being frustrated, but I love watching the parkour videos because they highlight just how creative and impressive some GTA map makers are.

My favorite thing about AH is how they always help each other, even during a competition.

I would love to see an achievement hunter animated about them trying to drive cars into that tree!

The pure chaotic energy of this type of lets play is always enjoyable. The brutal obstacle courses are fun.

I'm stunned Michael won, I was predicting a dnf, if everyone ended the race normally that is. That's why I love these more challenging courses, hard to predict tell outcome.

Matt's incomprehensible rage when Michael caught up to him was fucking priceless.

At around 5:00 Gavin just driving around that tube like a hamster wheel asking “when do i get off” had me rolling holy shit

Soft tyres give you more grip, but wear out faster. For this course use soft tyres like Gavin.

I love videos like these where everyone is trying to get through some sort of course because there's inevitable failing, some people getting ahead, then eventually someone will progress and meet back up with others, and it just goes on and on until eventually they break free. Oh, and also the rage is great too.

I love these types of GTA videos so much.

29:40 is pure comedy gold to me!

It's hilarious how Michael struggled so hard at the beginning but then just blew past everyone (after a few hiccups). It's just damn funny when everyone struggles on something and he does it so easily but then he does terribly on the stuff they do quite easily. (Like when matt says welcome to hell and he catches up and finishes pretty quickly and when he does the mailslots part quite easily and has to look back like wut?)

Indie cars have wings to keep it pressed to the ground. It's brilliant to apply that to a wall ride section.

This was a really fun episode to watch. They should do more races that are similar.

For the let’s play guys, the difference between hard tires and soft tires are this: Hard tires stay cold and gives you less grip but the tire last longer in return. Soft tires get hot quickly leading to a soft sticker tire giving you more grip. There rubber on a soft tire sticks better to the surface but can lose traction and deflate faster.

Mat is that kind of gamer we all know who gives you the essential information only after he has a sizable lead

what sucks is at one point gavin manages to miraculously end up in a reverse position, but triggers the boost probably because he was slightly falling forward so completely dismisses any notion of reverse driving

That map was actually awesome. Love stuff like this 👏🏻👏🏻 Michaels comeback was amazing

This was a great let’s play, they should do more let’s plays with maps like this

Ryan had the right idea sort've. They kept launching into the final wall and then falling far enough down the ramp that they were off the boost. Then they'd repeatedly go back to the top and get boosted over, they should've came at it an angle so they boosted into the wall then they could've gone over and safely to the tree with the ramp. I'm not saying it's easy, but they were just getting frustrated and making the same mistakes over and over again.
