True but lets face it, it is worth trying to hang on to that $100 if you can, it takes a long time to earn a hundred on minimum wage. I would have a sob story for Johnny too :) I would not be waiting till Johnny showed up though, my OCD would have had my car moved days ago just in case Johnny came early.

Great job. It is their responsibility, but I'm glad you do remain calm. (I would loose my patience every once in awhile after having to repeat these same negotiations over and over too). But, I appreciate that if I had moved to a different country where many people have different ways of handling things, some legal-some not, you are always on the right side. And heck yes!! I would want that right to the drop fee!! I watched another towing channel. Their fee is approx. $350 cash, and their yard was somewhere up in the country needing an expensive Uber or taxi ride. Every state is different.

I always wonder why Johnny keeps talking to these people, who just stand there and say the same thing over and over. If it's hooked, and they don't have the money, just pull it up and get it out. It's wasting the time of the crew and everybody else to argue with these deadbeats.

He's ALWAYS been this way, as far as I remember. I've been watching since 787 subs. Lol, I remember that # specifically, for some reason. Just never forgot it. Anyway, back to my 1st train of thought.... Johnny has consistently given everyone the same respect (sometimes you can tell this one can be more difficult to replicate with EVERYONE, lol) the same opportunity to pay out (as he said, it's state law, required to give the chance to pay out). It's just his job, nothing personal, but, that being said, I've seen him go above and beyond to help people out. I am not a betting woman, but, I'm sure he's done so much more that he doesn't put into his videos. He's just not the type to "toot his own horn" so to speak. Johnny's just a good man, good person, with a big heart. He loves and gives thanks to God (for keeping him safe) Family, (for support and love)and his employer (for allowing him to have his channel)! THAT pretty much sums up the whole of Johnny - TowTrucker! 🙏👍🏻🙏❤️

Usually on these videos, Johnny’s been called in by a property manager, so, to an extent, he’s their representative. If he treats them the way you say, then there’s going to be blowback for the property managers. And he can kiss that towing contract goodbye. It pays dividends to take a little extra time and smooth things over, and loses money to rush and brush people off.

Tow company has to be reimbursed for fuel, plus wear & tear on the equipment. Driver has to be paid for their time. Asphalt crew needs to be paid for their time. Paid for fuel, plus wear & tear on their vehicles. Cost of materials. Cost of prep of materials back at the plant. The property managers have to pay out. They bill the owner. Sitting around waiting is not part of the contract. The property owner needs to be reimbursed for the extra costs the car owner caused by not being on time moving their car. The owner of the car will pay the fine.

That's always a tough call to make when a guy tells you he Isn't working and can't afford the dreaded drop fee........and it might sound harsh but if this guy wasn't working why was he sleeping and not out looking for work........or asking the paving company workers if they can employ him for the day. Either way it's like you said, it's not fair to you for him to not move his car and give you the sob story after you've driven all the way there and hooked it. Either way you're just a fair man doing an honest job. Take care, be careful, be safe, and GOD bless America!
