I get it now. What's really destined to happen is not Sigma winning or the war happening but Seo Hae and Tae Sul finding each other and fighting everything to be together til death do them apart.

Sisyphus is not about the Korea being nuked in infinite loop. The infinite loop is Han tan seul meeting Seeohae again and again.

Yep, as with the myth of Sisyphus whi was punished to push a boulder up a mountain, Tae Sul is forever damned to fall in love and be heart broken again and again. Yet as this eps established, that love was premeditated and manipulated by Sigma. This is similar to what the villain did in Oldboy if you think about it

The amount of tears I cried😭😭.... The last ep was so freaking sad especially the last Scene were taesul was practically just seeing seohee's illusion ....just why😭😭😭😭😭😭

taesul always have to choose one - "the girl, or the world?" should he sacrifice the girl for the world, or sacrifice the world for the girl? he thought he can sacrifice neither - but in the end, he answered: "for both the girl and the world, i'll sacrifice myself." // idek what's this haha

Realistic ending , not that excited to watch this drama but still watch till the end , I think this ending is beautiful , and the way he choose not to take his medicine make me cry , last ep is amazing !

Because it's real, he is not hallucinating.... Remember he ask Sohae to trust in him no matter what happens she should find him. And she find him because of their sacrifice they stop the war and survived....

@@selfless_single they were together at the end but that's another time frame, the same fate, like the war, will happen again but in different time in the future. It's a never ending loop which is literally the Myth of Sisyphus. I find it very sad tho

Its an open ending which is briliant. Everyone has their own opinion on how it ends, theres so many possibilities depends how you wanna see it, whether they both died because taesul killed him self before making the code which eventually Made Seo Hae dissapeared as well, or they go to another time circle where Tae Sul was on the plane and hallucinating over Seo Hae instead of his brother, or whether they actually made it somehow and were on their way to Hawaii, either way its endless, just like the title it self, Sisyphus. I personally think the ending matches the show. Both PSH and CSW did such a great job. Dang they'll forever be missed 🌼❤️

Park Shin Hye and Cho Seung Woo is an on-screen couple with such great chemistry that we didn't know we needed. The scene in which Seohea and Taesul were on the plane is when Sisyphus ended. Can't bear with the tragic ending!!

For the first ever, I downloaded a drama series in Netflix so I can rewatch it again and again anytime, anywhere. The pair I never thought I needed.

I'm gonna miss this series for this drama is just unique really love the plot twist especially when sun didnt die and ending was not bad at all kinda confusing I'm rewatching it again ep 16 to understand more better overall this drama is the best loving the bickering of the couple and love that park shin hye is the hottest when doing action scenes 🔥 A highly recommended drama for those who want something new and exciting 😉

I've watched many dramas last year and this year but KangHan have really become my favorite couple tbh. Park Shin Hye and Cho Seung Woo did an amazing and beautiful job ❣️

this series is unforgettable 😔 we love you kanghan

best in all aspects... cinematography, music scoring, cast, screenplay, and plot. i know this series is not everyone's cup of tea. but for science enthusiasts like me, this is something worth watching for. sci-fi thrillers are really ambiguous since they are fictional. for STM, a lot of confusions arise from the start not until the last episodes... if you carefully watch for the details, one could tell that everything did make sense. even the seemingly 'bullet proof fridge' ? and all those missed bullets.. all these were explained if you pay attention to the details til the end of the show.. hey, it's a time-travel series what do u expect?.. in itself it is pretty much mind-boggling and cracking. at least, in STM these were indirectly answered in the later episodes. and ohh the ending.. i initially found it hard to accept but revisiting the past episodes, i have now the strength to move on... for me, STM is a masterpiece!

My positive thinking, this "future" is the only future that Sigma doesn't see, he only see when Tae-Sul die after insert the codes, that's why he doesn't see this coming, the events that's finally breaks the loop, and to save Tae-Sul, she makes Eddy to put her on the uploader, so she can comes back before Tae-Sul shoot his head..that's why both of them are on vacation. 😎🌴 the ending at the plane more or less like "Inception-Nolan" ending, because Cobb and we as the viewer don't even know, is it true or not, that he still dreaming at the last scene, because the spinner keeps moving around (but Caine said that every scene which him in it, means the reality) and in here Tae-Sul also doubting is it a dream or not because he gives up his meds.

@@karinhanna5940 exactly, it doesnt make sense at all. How I wish the the plane scene doesn't exist like I know how they really wanted them to be together but some things are best left alone. The plane scene is so redundant to the point it doesn't make sense.

Please bring this two-actor an actress again. Only you guys can do it. Until now I stay with Netflix is because of K-drama and Park Shin Hye. In her drama before which is Memories of Alhambra, you guys could make the cast played Jenga but now what's wrong with this drama that you guys can't do it the same as before? Sincerely, I don't really like Memories of Alhambra because of the unfair scene for the actress. But this time I really like this drama. I love the story, love the character of Park Shin Hye, love how kind character of Han Tae Sul, etc. Please Netflix, hear our voice, read our comment..

I’m not a fan of Sci-fi, though. But #SisyphusTheMyth is an exception. It has that unique story. The writer has that very wide imagination... I couldn’t put it in the right words. #ParkShinHye and #ChoSeungWoo’s acting were outstanding! Park Shin Hye’s acting performance is something to tell... her outstanding performance! It’s sad to read such negative comments but still they managed to watch it. About the ending... what’s wrong about it? Stop throwing stone and hate about the ending. For me the title itself talks about the ending... I wish to see them together in another K-drama or a movie. I miss them already!! And yes, it’s a highly recommended k-drama.

I am still sad..i want them again..plz somebody give them a romcom though sisyphus was great but han tae sul left alone broke my heart..he should make another time machine to go to future and meet grown up seo hae..😪😪😪

I love the ending, although it has an open ending. Of course it has a mind blowing story with a mind blowing twists too. Remember when TS visited Seo Hae’s mom and dad in their apartment for the first time? He talked about the necklace.... What do you call that? Time paradox.,. TS experienced that too because he opened that can, then saw someting about the future. At the bunker, TS and SH has the same body like Mr. Park and his team. Seo Hae discovered it before TS left Seo Hae’s alone. I mean for example Mr, Park’s duplicate or Seo Hae’s duplicate from the past or present. They couldn’t exist long, the other one will die... At the church Seo Hae’s dying and TS killed himself... theres another one duplicate of them... these who killed Sigma. These two took the uploader just to save Seo Hae from Sigma.. I mean other original TS and Seo Hae there’s another one (TS and Seo Hae) existing. If the other two couple died ( TS killed himself and Seo said bye bye too after he died after she told him that her favorite person is Tae Sul then she vanished). What I mean is the couple who took the uploader died and there’s another couple. These couple sitting inside the airplane... Never under estimate Han Tae Sul. Remember he made the downloader and the uploader. He can control everything for Seo Hae. Okay, I’ll live for this kind of ending. I love Sisyphus The Myth, and so is Park Shin Hye and Cho Seung Woo!

the ending i think was...real sisyphus was HTS the moment he died a new timeline was created and if he didn't new sigma would appear to make them end the same way ( referring eddie acting the same way as sigma ), with no uploader everyone from future disappeared including KSH...the last aeroplane scene depicts that HTS went back to his normal self ( ep 1 scene ) but still remembers everything probably because of time paradox just as KSH asked him to...he wakes up and find KSH but she isn't there really its just her hallucination like he did of his brother, again ep 1...but this time he didn't took the meds and tries to live with that hallucination as he knows thats the only way he could meet her...this can also represent human guilt like last time he had that for his brother now its for KSH probably they wants us to know that humans can’t live a perfect life everyone has regrets in their lives its just that you need to learn how to live with it...in present KSH must be 8years old living a happy life with her parents, war was stopped hence the korean peninsula was saved...sigma in the last looks like a changed person his thinking about others changed but atleast not for HTS... he still is jealous of him ( the part he tries to copy him )...sigma once told HTS that it was him who made HTS successful but it was wrong as even without his help HTS had the same success because he was capable enough...overall our main lead survived this time, korea was saved, even tho it was a happy ending for most of the people it was a disconsolate one for HTS...overall it was just my style of work and i loved it, the ending had many messages and i loved to see how they showed them to us...

The plane scene was first scene where he saw illusion of his brother...n now that in reality his brother is alive bcauz he didn't make uploader n killed himself, his past himself remembers park shin Hye n doesn't want to come out through the illusions he sees of her...so he also doesn't take medication to avoid hallucations bcauz he misses her..

I really love the action of park shin hye she's glowing while doing action moves. But the storyline and plots of the drama confusing not interesting that's why the ratings keep dropping.Hoping the season 2 will change the story into an amazing story that intrigue the viewers.

For me, while TSul was dying, he was listening to Seo Hae's voice. So, his brain made this last dreamlike scene, that he was in a plane with Seo Hae... He just wanted to be with her.

@@aastik2066 in reality it is just a hallucination for han tae sul, gang seo hae and people from the future are not real which is the reason why han tae sul didnt wanna take the medicine cuz he doesnt want them to go away plus it doesnt need a season 2 cuz from the title “sisyphus” meaning doing a punishment forever like a loop but just imagine that he woke up from a dream and gang seo hae and han tae sul are just going to hawaii 😊😊
