Angkor Wat is one of the must-visit places in the world. Park Hyatt is definitely the best hotel in Siem Reap.
It is my second time staying on the property. My first time was 13 years ago, which was called Hotel de la Paix. The Hyatt group took over it a few years ago. When I have a chance to visit Angkor again, of course, I would come back to see how does Hyatt brings this beautiful property to another level.
It's the only luxury hotel within walking distance to the night market, with most of the nice restaurants, bars, and spas. Park Hyatt is the top-tier hotel of the Hyatt group, their service is extraordinary.
If you want to know what's the difference between a good 5star hotel and a Park Hyatt. One of the best examples is the service by the pool. In a good 5star hotel, the attendant may serve you cold water. In Park Hyatt, they serve you cold water, cold towels, chill grapes, even sunblock lotion, and facial spray.
I highly recommend this hotel to everyone who visits Angkor.

Yes. It’s a very good hotel. Great service and location. And I think maybe it’s the most affordable Park Hyatt. Haha…

It looks nice. Really nice. But you say "the best" and I don't think you've properly compared it to Raffles Grand Hotel d'Angkor. Nothing in this video convinces me that this fine hotel is actually better than the Grand, which is superb. Your Title is unfortunate for your credibility. When you go back to Siem Reap, stay at Grand Hotel d'Angkor, do a review. You won't regret it.

Can’t be the best...the swimming pool is rubbish

There are two swimming pools. One is a lap pool of you want to get some serious swimming. The other one is the free form one that you can chill around. Yes, this hotel may not have a big swimming pool like some of the other hotels. But the detail of the service makes it stand out.

@@affordableluxurytravelchannel yes, I haven’t been upstairs so I take your point on that. However after I saw your video I saw one on the 25 best hotels in Cambodia, from TRIP ADVISOR ....most in Siem Reap and you should have a look at it. Your hotel CAME IN 17th and 15 of the first 16 were from Siem Reap...so trip advisor customers certainly don’t agree with you. Your hotel has no grounds like many of the big ones do, so I see that as a disadvantage too. I wonder how many of the big hotels you are really knowledgeable about, I conclude not many if you think the Hyatt is number 1.

@@garyroberts3859 I never trust the ranking on TripAdvisor. You have to remember, there are many people with budget on TripAdvisor. Most of the luxurious hotels will not be on the top of the ranking usually. But I will definitely read the reviews on TripAdvisor. By the way, I just checked. Hyatt is #6 best value on TripAdvisor. The first 5 are either too far from the city or not luxurious at all
