Thanks for stopping by and you do the same!
So jealous of FL right now and your warm weather. It is starting snow up here in IL and just plain cold. No State Parks for us until the Spring. Will just have to live through you. I really like the cartoon effect you use.

Ha, glad I could contribute to your state parks fix. We'll be suffering here come summer though, when it is too hot to do anything.
Loved the old building and a beautiful state park. The boat cruise would have been Lovely. Great episode. Seasons Greetings 🎄 have a great weekend buddy.🙏🏽👍🏽🤗

Seasons greetings to you all as well. Thanks for stopping by ☺
I always wanted to take a ride on one of those glass bottom boats. We saw some last year at Silver Springs State Park!

When it is running, this one is really cool. They take you out over the spring and it looks like you are peering down into a bottomless pit.
Nice review Hopper, beautiful park

I hope you are able to. It is a great place!
What a nice state park- were you the only one there?? It was crazy empty! I’m amazed at how big that spring is! Looks like a full on lake is that the same place you were recently kayaking at? Lots of fun to be had there. I would like to explore Florida more, I have only been a couple of times.

It is kind of the off season and I did most of my shooting in the morning. It wasn't crowded, but there were other people around😊. And yes, this is where we were kayaking, although you can not do it on the park grounds. The Wakulla spring is the start of the Wakulla river and we were kayaking downstream just outside of park property.
Glass bottom boat looks like it would be cool. When does manatee season start? I’ll be through the area in March but I’m sure that is too early.

Some manatee stay there year round, but most show up during the coldest months, so DEC-FEB. We were there right at the season start, but didn't get to see any. March would be right at the end. The water from the spring is cool, but stays a pretty constant temp year round. So when the waters around the springs get colder, the manatees seek the warmer waters of the spring.
