PARK HOME/ should we buy one
our adventure on selling and moving to a park home, this is going to be a journey and half.
Home up for sale, a new development, new roads new vans, security code entrance, there is a lot we have got to get rid of, to downsize
Learning how to live in a smaller space.
Any advice anyone can give on downsizing and moving in to residential park, be very much appreciated.

We were considering it ourselves but the price of the caravans was in my eyes way to much, you could purchase an appartment overseas, Greece, Spain, Italy etc ! For less and have the guaranteed weather.. However myself and the wife are retired so it would be easier for us I suppose. We have also considered caravans in the sun as a future option as well. However nice informative video and good luck in your new adventure

Hi just started watching your videos today they are brilliant and very helpful me n my wife been talking about this for a long time we been looking at moving to Tenerife (static) but with being out of EU its a lot harder so been talking about a static here has its cheaper to live (only 2yrs of mortgage left) and have more time to travel. Thank you it’s more of a base for us as we are going away more and also looking at apartments in spain ect so fo 4 months a year the vans going to be empty, just got to learn the draining down re setting the boiler ect, you have a few options with residential or 12 month park homes, go to make sure it’s something you want. To do, ask all the people you see on the site what it’s like check with council to see if it’s registered as residential or holiday park, what band is council tax or rates if holiday park if it’s a holiday park need to know when it’s closed or how long you have to be off site ect , there’s loads to look in to, really appreciate your input and following us, I do all kinds of videos so some you mite like some you won’t, ever day is different with our channel, thanks for you positive input much appreciated

It’s very scary I will be honest, but with my daughter being terminally ill with cancer it’s made us think about enjoying life

We have mail delivered to home address but can have it delivered at the park home address also when having your decking done ramps can be made to suit needs required
Do you pay community charge where you are 👍🙏

I lost my daughter she was only 36 just before Xmas and to top it off not one family member has asked how I’m feeling since so puts more into perspective now life’s to short and we make our own way in life, it’s sad as I needed them at my lowest and no one was there I don’t feel ashamed saying I really needed them I feel more ashamed they wasn’t there for me
