You missed a trick in not having a "Fin" caption at the end. :) It's difficult to believe that this was filmed twenty years ago. The trams themselves look so modern. Only the cars date it. I note the similarity of traction motor sound to our own dear Jubilee Line 1996 Underground stock. Thanks for an interesting short video. More continental stuff if you've got it, please.

Yes you are right... I should have thought of that, not just for the two Paris Tram T1 films but also the other French / continental films. These TFS trams are also used in Grenoble, and eventually there will be footage of them too. So far this has not even been digitised. They were also used in Reims, but I did not get around to visiting that city and anyway the trams were so popular that they had to be replaced with larger trams. There is more European footage to come, although I first plan to complete the Melbourne films. As well as the European trolleybus medley there are already films from several European & Scandinavian towns and cities in France, Holland, Sweden, Switzerland, Latvia, Italy, Holland, Belgium and Germany.
