Been waiting on ur review on the savants. Very nice! Im also riding some raked vapors now and they feel very amazing. Ive ridden Calibers and then moved to kodiaks they both are nice and stable but not so lively and responsive. Id wish paris would sell their truck parts individually. So you could just buy a spare 50° baseplate or some 165mm hangers to play around without having to spend 200 bucks on the whole truck again.

Happy you've been looking forward to it man! The Vapor have tall bushings right? They look good too, I've wanted to try them too. Where are you based? I think you can buy them individually from a skateshop

@@downhill254skate Im from Germany, the Skoa Website dont sell individually so far. They run tall/regular bushings which is a really nice feel combined with their rake and the 47° BP. Btw, are u coming to KNK this year?

@@s.sumertas9206 Yeah, must be nice to have a middle ground of too much lean. I would if I could afford it! Maybe next year! But I'll probably be only able to afford one international race or something liek that

Hi, from what I can tell the slop stoppers are made of urethane, and I cannot find replacements anywhere. What do you do when the slop stoppers wear out?

Do you think the savants still hold up in the current truck market? I'd love to hear your thoughts, you're my go to in terms of skate gear.

Hmmm tough to say. But the cast trucks today are soooo good and so close in terms of performance, that I'd say Savants aren't worth it unless durability is really important to you too

Did u Ride 43° 165mm with the added positive wedge of ur tesseract in this review? Is 43/43 good for freeride and standies at around 40-50kmh. Or should i get 50° 180mm? Still need to practice a bit more in general but i ride ok.

For the parts I was doing stand up slides, I had them 43/43. When I was going fast, doing hands down stuff, I had them 43/35 (with a randal plate in the back). Yes. 43/43 will be good for freeride and standies around 40-50kmh. Don't get the 50*, 180mm. If you plan to do downhill and freeride, the 43 will be best.

@@downhill254skate Thank you Abuga my friend, your the best! I will buy some 165mm 43° Savants now, i hope they are good for learning standups, i can do some heelside standies but still needa practice more on toesides. Also i can do some handsdown predirft but not as good as you do it my friend because you skate litteraly like a Pro Racer nowadays. But i mainly want to do Standup into corners and standup freeride on them, i personally dont enjoy fast handsdown drifts and gripping around corners at all, i like to slide towards them standup or slide through it, heelside it works as i said but toeside still needs a lot of work, cuz lately i was focusing more on handsdown because i wanted to so some runs with ma homies and otherwise i couldnt get them done with them as i dont feel comfortable in kicking out standups over at 45kmh+ yet. But hopefully soon with my new Paris, i like to lean into it before kicking it out, right now i have some 47° raked trucks and they turn very fast i enjoyed it as a total beginner cuz i could initiate slides on slower speeds, but once u go faster i miss the lean into the slide as it will just turn so sharply. I tried different bushing shapes, Kegs and Barricals but it didnt fix the problem it just restricted the trucks turn and lean in general. So stay safe and stay healthy my friend, wish you and your crew all the best.

@@funkymonkey981 anytime bro. haha, still a long way to go before I can be compared to a pro. but thanks for tht. Yeah man, Savants are really great for standup. They're so precise and are so forgiving, you'll love them! And you too bro! Stay safe, wishing you the best
