Smallville is an American superhero television series developed by writer-producers Alfred Gough and Miles Millar, based on the DC Comics character Superman created by Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster. The series, initially broadcast by The WB, premiered on October 16, 2001. After Smallville's fifth season, The WB and UPN merged to form The CW, the series' later United States broadcaster. Smallville, which ended its tenth and final season on May 13, 2011, follows Clark Kent (Tom Welling) in the fictional town of Smallville, Kansas, before he becomes the Man of Steel. The first four seasons focus on Clark and his friends in high school and his love story with Lana Lang. After season five Smallville ventures into adult settings, eventually focusing on his career alongside Lois Lane (Erica Durance) at the Daily Planet and introducing other DC comic-book superheroes and villains. Before the series' production, Bruce Wayne, chronicling the young protagonist's journey toward Batman, was proposed first. Although that series failed to generate interest, it inspired Smallville. Series developers Gough and Millar pitched their "no tights, no flights" rule to the president of Warner Bros. Television, reducing Superman to the bare essentials and examining what led Clark Kent to become the Man of Steel. After seven seasons with the show, Gough and Millar departed with little explanation. Smallville was primarily filmed in and around Vancouver, British Columbia, with local businesses and buildings substituting for Smallville locations. Most of the music for the first six seasons was composed by Mark Snow, who incorporated elements of John Williams's musical score from the Superman film series. In season seven, Louis Febre (who worked with Snow from the beginning) became the series' primary composer.
Tom Welling is best known for playing Clark Kent/Superman on the hit television series Smallville. He also directed several episodes of the series and served as executive producer. Tom Welling recently starred in the film The Choice. His big screen credits include Draft Day, Parkland, Cheaper by the Dozen, Cheaper by the Dozen 2 and The Fog. He also starred in the TV series Undeclared and Judging Amy and produced the series Hellcats starring Aly Michalka and Ashley Tisdale. Most recently, Tom Welling played Marcus Pierce, the Police Commissioner in season 3 of the series Lucifer. He will make another appearance as Clark Kent alongside Erica Durance in the Crisis On Infinite Earths crossover.
Known for her iconic role as Lana Lang in the series Smallville, Kristin Kreuk made her small screen debut in 2001 playing Snow White in the TV movie of the same name and Leurel Yeung in the series Edgemont. She then appeared in several television series including Beauty and the Beast. In the cinema, she is present in the comedy Eurotrip, the action film Street Fighter: Legend of Chun-Li, the thriller Vampire and the science fiction comedy Space Milkshake. Finally, since 2018, she has produced and starred in the drama series Burden of Truth.
Synopsis :
In a small town that experienced a meteor shower a few years earlier, young Clark Kent is raised by a family of farmers. Forced to hide his exceptional powers, he learns to use them to help others.

True, she’s still so beautiful but I’m gonna assume she had some minor Botox at least on her forehead, cause I recently re-watched the whole show and she had more forehead lines back then than she does now. But other than that her face is literally ageless, she’s amazing

BT true, I don’t doubt it either, he’s gained weight but his skin is literally flawless. I feel like the worst part is though, whether or not he got it is that no one would care, like think brad pit the dude has wrinkles and is actually old looking/aging naturally and still considered one of the hottest men in Hollywood but if a women in Hollywood were to age similarly or be comparable to Brad pit’s aging/wrinkles and whatnot she’d get trashed for how “bad” she looks. Tabloid magazines, and even regular celeb ones, would run stories asking “what happen?” and spread rumours that “she’s let herself go”, “she’s going nuts”, “she looks awful” etc. and they HAVE done this to numerous older women celebs that go out without makeup looking natural and “tired” and make a huge fuss. They practically make fun of them and harass them about how bad they look, but then go around and wonder why these women get work done as if they didn’t basically tell them they need it in the first place. The double standard in both regards is OUTRAGEOUS, the double standard that men are allowed to age but women cannot/should not and that everyone in Hollywood gets work done but only women are critiqued about it.

One thing you can tell with these two is that they are just as friendly as they were 20 years ago. They don't have any weird tension. They definitely got along so well and the strong connection they built all those years ago is still present.
In my opinion, out of all actors playing the character of Clarck Kent / Superman, it was Tom who played the character most authentically. 🤔🙂
The only thing that would be extremely good in movie industry is to see these guys in one more movie together

The French clearly do not know how to run an event. Kristin looks like she stepped out of the series. Still looks amazing.
From my point of view they are tired of the same questions on every convention, Tom looks jet-lagged still, great show Kristin is the best of the show.

Great, I love Smallville
Great panel, just wish there was less background noise, it gets really distracting at times. Most other comic cons place their panels in a separate auditorium from where other events take place, especially with a lot of crowd noise and music playing. Still enjoyed it though! Tom's story about the dude stopping him on the street in Vancouver thinking he was Jared from Supernatural LOL omg what a doofus.
