Parents reaction to our baby birth in the car ( plus unseen footage )

This is our reaction to the video we published on May 17th titled "mom gave birth to our baby in the car" We recorded this reaction on May 16, the day before the baby birth video was published. We filmed this immediately after Erika's first time watching it. We talk about how we were feeling in those moments and there is some unseen footage you'll have a look at during a stressful moment with 911 and our midwife as we were waiting for the ambulance to arrive.
We were thinking of rerecording this so it was shorter but we thought it just wouldn't' be authentic anymore. Erika and I pride ourselves on being real in front the camera, what you see is what you get. We know its long so I really doubt anyone will make it through it. but for the few people who are curious its here for you.

She mentioned that she was worried about her facial expressions and her screaming before uploading it.. Meanwhile when I was watching it all I was thinking was how is she so calm???!! And I kept screaming "what a woman ! What a warrior!!!!!" If I were in that situation I would probably be sobbing screaming bloody murder. Thank you for posting such a beautiful video! Congratulations to you both.

The way her husband acknowledged that the birth video was a very vulnerable moment and asked her if she was okay with it going live made me realize there's still very good men out there. Wishing your family all the best 🥰

I worked in NICU and Mother/baby unit as a social worker for years. Here are my thoughts. They teach you that all births are traumatic events as they are highly emotionally charged moments. I think Troy is processing the trauma that went with delivering the baby on the 407 instead of the hospital as he had planned. He has some residual PTSD over the event. That’s totally normal. He felt responsible for the birth and safety of his wife. Great job Troy and mama Erika. Baby Nova is a stunningly beautiful baby

I LOVE when men aren’t afraid to show their emotional side!! That’s a real man right there!!!!! And something tells me he doesn’t want Nova to be the last one, deep down he might want one more 🥰🥰🥰

She shouldn’t be embarrassed she did amazing!! You both did amazing! That was an incredible experience and thank you for sharing it with us. I love when he said she is so strong. I love that he kept those quiet moments in the car in the video because he’s right it was beautiful, as a mother of 3 myself when I saw her face it’s almost like I knew what she was thinking lol. It was definitely one of the best labor and delivery videos I’ve ever seen! God bless you guy!!

Laugh at you mama?? More like admiring your courage, your poise, your quick thinking, control... No no no no... We are not laughing, we are amazed at the beauty of a child coming to the world from unfamiliar grounds and two people working together to make it happen. It's absolutely beautiful. I'm still recovering and I'm a woman. Well done and ring of fire for real.. Baby and mom healthy and dad's emotional wreck but relieved and happy. We are happy. I just subscribed instantly. The smoothest sub ever. God bless you.

Omg me and this little girl have something in common. We were both born in a car and named Nova. My full name is Novarie I was born in a chevy Nova back in 89. I have my birth certificate and newspaper article about me in the local news paper. I'm so happy you have a beautiful, healthy baby girl.

Holding in the urge to push is literally the hardest thing I've ever experienced in my life. I thought the midwives were trying to torture me by telling me to wait with pushing. But, of course, I had to trust the process, and that they knew what they were doing. I think it's so noble of your husband to express just how much he admires the strength of women for being able to carry forth children. 🥰 It's not easy at all.

I've birthed 9 babies. And honest loving father's tearful expression of pure joy, elation, realization, thankfulness, and relief will never get old, and will always be an incredible memory for us (the world) and for your growing family. You both are amazing. And no matter how many babies you birth, each one is incredible.

Troy this is for you! I think you were so emotional while editing because as much as your heart was exploding with love it was also terrifying and you realized that the things we cherish most are both crazy strong and crazy fragile...
