With the grandparent dilemma - I always say to my parents.. listen you had your time to be a parent. Now it’s my time. All I ask is that you respect my rules and boundaries and don’t undermine me infront of my kids cz then they think it’s ok for THEM to do that. It’s takes time.. keep on explaining.. but you will get there! ❤

So I also finished my master’s back in August in a year and half! I have two kids and the 3 year old one is autistic, and I work full time as a teacher. I have absolutely no idea how I got it all done but here I am with a 3.9 GPA and a master’s in chemistry! Anyways congratulations on getting your Masters girl. Phew now you are amongst the elite!

My husband cooks for our family and it’s mainly because i hate being in the kitchen and my husband loves cooking and experimenting. He’s a big carnivore so cooking and grilling is his passion. I’m a mom of two boys and my oldest son who is 12 now can make a ton of stuff. He can bake cookies on his own, he can make buttermilk marinaded fried chicken, cook steak, and his KZread watch history is all cooking videos. I feel like some girl is gonna get really lucky when she marries my son cuz he’s going to take care of her! Also I have had a job since I was 16 and I think it is THE most important skill to have early on. It made me so much more confident and independent. I bought my first car all on my own. Paid for college and never asked my dad to pay a dime (I’m in Texas and education ain’t cheap).

The watermelon wali thing is like the watermelon already have a too much water content to it so drinking not little but a lot of water which I think no one do is risky for you health and the fish and milk thing I also don’t get it but some people get allergic reaction by drinking milk after fish you never know you have that allergy so people avoid it and i don’t know whyyy pakistanis have make this a big thing 😂😂😂

The milk gives you heartburn in pregnancy because of its high fat content but the reason why they'd tell you to have it after having something warm in nature like Mangoes was to neutralise the heat in the body - this all came from unani Tibb medicine which was practiced by many hakeems across South Asia. I dont really understand the underlying story behind it but I'd probably just listen to them anyway as they were so much stronger and healthier than the people in our generation 😅
