Ohh lovely Hotel chocolat! i love their chocolates they are so nice, i bought a box around Christmas that also had peanut butter chocolates in (as well as other flavours) Glad you can now try them. Yes there is the hot chocolate velvetiser, but it is quite expensive! I bought the cherry bakewell flavoured Horlicks recently, i'm interested to see what you think of it, sadly i couldn't find the banoffee pie flavour though that sounds good.

@@FinnLovesFood shall I tell you how it got its name? True story! Eton - the v posh public school - every year had/has a sports day/prize giving/posh peeps day out where they wear all their finery etc in the Summer, of which a proper posh High Tea (not to be confused with an Afternoon Tea 😉🙂↕️is the order of the day - salmon and cu sandwiches with the crusts cut off; petit fours and canapés etc; fancy cakes and of course - as it’s the height of Summer - creamy desserts like trifles and pavlovas etc all made with delicious fresh strawberries (there’s nothing better than an English (Kentish of course!) strawb …. 🥰🥰. One one of these special days a long time ago, as the desserts were being prepared and being placed on silver platters etc….some poor soul tripped and misplaced the beautiful huge and creamy strawberry pavlovas!! 😱😱😳😳😨🙂↕️The meringue was smashed into pieces, the cream went skew whiff and the poor old strawberries squashed into a blob….what to do?? People would be wanting their “afters”! So one enterprising chef, scooped up the mixed up dessert of crushed meringue pieces, whipped doubke cream and strawbs (there was nothing “wrong” with any of it, it was all still edible!) and carefully placed a quantity into a tall sundae glass (knickerbocker glory sized) put a strawberry and mint leaf on the top as a decoration - BINGO JINGO - a dessert was born and called….. an Eton Mess!!! 😄 and bloody gawjjj one is too! If you come over here in the Summer, I will make you one!
