Great case study, thanks for sharing! 👍 This is to compensate from the missing case studies we haven’t had during the livestreams. 😁

Your video was excellent very informative . I’ve been doing custom installations in vehicles but never ran across anyone who could explain a parasitic draw the way you did. Thank you for the education.

For me, case studies are the effective way to learn. TBT are even better because they are actual currently working techs. You guys are awesome!

You can buy a small cheap amp clamp and meter on Amazon for about 20.00 dollars, for anyone that wants to test with out a scope or grafing meter , works very good, great video

Noticed the Vantage showing 19mA with the circuit off, so draw is even closer to chart value

Yea you see that way to often people unplug a module draw goes away. Then they replace the module. They don’t think of inputs or outputs

  • @richfalco4333

Pete, I hate those guys but it’s been my experience that a lot of those j case fuses are rated pretty high and usually protecting several smaller circuits further down the harness that probably have smaller standard style fuses on them so I always start with all the little, easy to access fuses and save those pita ones for last. But I’ve had to pry to covers off a few to test them.
