Parashat Shelach 5784 | Elevating the Divine Sparks
The small and seemingly insignificant 'spirit of folly' that enters into a person can cause a temporary disconnect in our Divine consciousness and awareness of the Presence of God in our lives. Is this state of 'temporary insanity' the secret of the infamous sin of the spies?
The Torah portion of Shelach (Numbers 13 : 1 - 15 : 41) is read on Shabbat, Sivan 23, 5784 - June 29, 2024

Very relatable. How to integrate the spiritual with the harsh realities of life is exactly what I'm struggling with right now.

iraseiden, Is it dismal or abysmal? Over time, the term 'abysmal' developed from this association, describing something as extremely bad, dismal, or profoundly disappointing in quality, performance, or condition, as if it had fallen into a figurative abyss of terrible quality or performance.
