This is really good. The aspect of seeing the spirit's silhouette is super Erie. The way you had the ending written out was also incredibly creepy. When you finish this I have no doubt in my mind that it will be the most creepy paranormal activity film.

I was the same way with my Grandparents house but for some reason it would only try to get my attention, appearing before me, making noises when no one else was home but me, it would even take my stuff for days and it would appear in a place I know I didn't put it. I'm glad I ain't there no more either.

The vibes from this is insane. I can smell a manifestation of Micah from this one. Full of potential, Adam. You really did an amazing job with this. My only suggestion is yo play around with the conversation a bit to make the characters sound authentic and like an actual convo. Dan should be more animated than deadpan. Hey everyone! I'd just like to clear up some confusion about two things: - Is this film real? The film is fictional. It's based on a film series made by Paramount with the same name. - Why does the camera say "1988" on it's timestamp when Adam has a smartphone? The film is set in 2018 hence the title card at 1:14. The camera says 1988 because it hasn't been powered up since then, not because the film is set in 1988. The whole "1988" thing is a reference to "Paranormal Activity 3" which was set in that year. I really enjoyed this! I agree with the comments below - please finish it and do a sequel. I love the PA movies, especially the first 3, and you do a great job building on that legacy. I did wonder why Adam didn't tell Dan about the note, which is the most paranormal thing in the whole movie. I caught the reference in the note, though, and I look forward to seeing where you go with that. I'm betting the date on the VHS camera is no coincidence, either. 😉

I really like this! Very suspenseful and well done. Far better than the Hollywood film franchise.😊

I with you on these movies but 1, Annabelle had a weird feel to it, I don’t k ow which one but there’s a scene in an apartment and a girl/ghost runs to the woman, for whatever reason that shook me?! 🤷‍♀️ I closed my laptop amd had to take a minute before going back and watching the remainder of the movie! There was just something in that scene that rattled me and I don’t know why. The conjuring, well let’s say I laid in bed looking at the top of my wardrobes for a while! 😂 But yeah, the documentary type ones seem to be the ones that have you on the edge of the seat.

Im making a paranormal activity fan film as well. I'm using Imovie, and it has allowed me to do everything i needed, except one thing that every paranormal activity movie needs. The timestamp in the bottom right of the screen, Imovie doesnt have the option for that, and i dont want to type every second onto every frame. I know after effects has the timestamp as an option, but i dont want to pay for it just to add something so small. How did you add the time stamp to your movie?

Hiya, I actually used Sony vegas pro for the editing on this. I did the timer by using text boxes and manually putting in every second. It’s easier on vegas, trust me 😂 Have a look at my “Paranormal Activity 3” camera timer test”. I’ve been thinking about making a tutorial if that would be useful to you!

Hi Andy, In England we generally have 1-floor small flats, 2-3 floor attached houses, 2-3 floor semi-detached houses and 2-3 floor fully detached houses. The house in the film is a semi detached house, meaning it has one house joined to it but no house on the other side! 😀

My bad, that was on the old camera.

This was very well written, acted, directed, and I especially liked the pace. However, tell me WHY is it that in these types of movies they set up cams BUT NEVER VIEW THE FOOTAGE OF THE ENTITIES, just a bit in the beginning then not so much? And why is it that u did this thing whereas, slap these paragraphs of happenings, where you DONT SHOW the scenes only make us read about it? This, for me is jolting. Takes me from FORGETTING ITS ALL a script being scred and forces me to read a scene u didnt create. This last paragraph made me feel ripped off. Sorry but it's the truth

Hiya, Sorry about the last scene, the reason was because by the time we got around to filming it, we were both really busy with college and work. Now that we actually have the time to film, the time of year means it's too light in the evenings to film a "dark" scene unless we filmed at like 10pm 😅 Hopefully this makes sense to you, thanks for the feedback!

My only issue was with Dan, the so-called expert. A true beliver/investigator would of moved in with their own equipment. Maybe you could, in your next film, incorporate a paranormal group exoraration. Sorry just my opinion. Other than that, I love your work

The film is set in 2018 hence the title card at 1:12, the VHS camera's date is initially shown as 1988 as an implication of when it had last been used. The correct date wouldn't show on the camera if it hadn't been turned on for 30 years anyway. Hope this clears things up 😀
