Paramore “Running Out Of Time" Official Lyrics & Meaning | Verified

Музыка

Paramore’s accomplished singer-songwriter Hayley Williams stopped by to break down the band’s new song “Running Out Of Time” from their just-released sixth studio album, “This Is Why.”
Williams thought about the lyrics after hearing the music. “It’d be really funny to roast myself for how disorganized I am,” she thought. “Every day, I run out of time.”
On today’s episode of VERIFIED, listen to Hayley’s spot-on Dolly Parton impression and learn more about how the infectious new song came together.

She’s terrible and sounds like she is shouting at her parents. She’s also way past her prime and can’t sing live without losing her breath and throwing it to the crowd. In my opinion - she’s one of the worst vocalists and most selfish people in the industry. Just my opinion, though.

honestly this really highlights her talking in the past about how she writes rhythmically. how all of her lyrics have their own rhythms even if they're written before the music. she takes her time here and doesn't rush just because she's singing a capella like other artists tend to do with this or end up doing a few parts in. no shade to them at all, it makes perfect sense to feel like you need to go a bit faster because you're in a room singing without music in front of a camera and people you don't know, pauses start feeling weird, and the point of you being there is to *talk* about the song more than it is to sing it, but since she writes so rhythmically she's regarding all of the rhythms of this song, waiting her turn as she hears it in her head. and the fact that she sounds like she does on the album is tied to this too. every word and syllable she has taken the time to assign a sound to so it makes sense she's following the route she's so painstakingly charted before (with her incredible vocal skills to back her up). there's a lot more to say about this but i am very tired i hope this makes sense lol i'm just in awe. i love and admire her artistry so much.
