I literally got on KZread and looked for a live video from a long time ago to prove this point to someone that a lot of people Who's music we liked back then low-key didn't really have any vocal talent they were just catchy. And that she's been consistent vocally my entire life it feels like!

The thing that touches me most about this song is putting the lyrics of Landslide, "I'm getting older, too," next to the image of Hayley and Taylor doing the acoustic songs when it used to be Hayley and Josh... I don't sit around lamenting the Farro brothers' departure, but something about that line, the hope and promise in it, and that it is a song about change and moving on, always gets me when I watch this video.

Paramore has been my favorite band since I was 11 years old. I'm 27 now. All of this time knowing them, I have never dedicated a song to anybody by them. I never wanted a bad memory attached to something that I love so much. With that being said though, this song is to my big little sister, Chelsea Leigh Pierce, who is no longer here with me on this earth due to suicide. I now feel her love through Paramore which will keep her spirit alive 💚🧡

Really can't believe this is from 2011. Feels like I just saw it for the first time yesterday... now it's 2014 and the years are just slipping by. At least I know I'll always love Paramore though, no matter how many years pass.

Does anyone else feel teary not just from the amazing performance itself, but also from hearing the crowd sing along and cheer? Not a lot of bands foster a sense of community in their fans but damn, the Parafamily has always been so great...watching this video always gives me a "we're all in this together" type of feeling and it's beautiful.

I’m here again after so many years now that really just said in today’s Nashville’s concert that “In The Mourning” is about Zac, after he left the group back then. 🥺

I LOVE her voice on this. I don’t know why. I usually like her performances but this one just stands out to me. Especially when she sings Landslide.

TaLiShAkUm09 These last few years have held some of the most fulfilling moments we’ve had yet… as people, as friends, and as a band. The Self-Titled era was one that we knew would be important for us but also one we’d eventually have to move on from. In moving forward, there is growth, pain, and change… and sometimes the change is not at all what you hoped for. We’ve written and re-written this countless times and there’s just not a good way to put it… Jeremy is no longer going to be in the band with us. To be honest, this has been really painful. After taking time to consider how to move forward, we ultimately found that we really do believe Paramore can and should continue on. And so we will. We’re really thankful for the people who have helped see us through hard times before and what we’ve discovered is that those people are just as much a part of this as we will ever be. We’re hopeful for Paramore’s future and we’re also excited for what Jeremy’s going to do next. Thank you all for your support and your belief in us. It’s kept us going. We will see some of you really soon on Parahoy. If you’re not coming on the cruise, we will still see you in 2016 - official statement

They sang this song at their concert that My Fiance and I went to this past weekend, and it was so touching. I loved it, even before she started singing Landslide. I am so glad I got to experience it. She sings very well.

this song is so naked and beautiful! it doesn't drown in a bunch of instruments, it is a simple song. I love it!

Yesterday (06/feb/2023) Hayley said she and Taylor wrote this song when Zac left the band. I always related this song with the mourning of death of someone (and I always will), but now, knowing that it was because the death of a friendship, it hits different.

bobby I feel like having zac back it feels right. He's definitely added you thier astechtic and sound. Zac even directed the Told You So video. Compare that to Jeremy. He just felt like he was there. He never wrote any of the songs. But Zac did write one of the songs on after laughter. And yes Jeremy added to the sound. But he's always been the flaky member. This is the second time he's left the band, ya know? Like I love Jeremy but having zac back feels 100% more right. Does that make any sense?

In hindsight, I see that little high five between hayley and taylor....and i wonder if that was the beginning of 'Liar'. The creativity of mixing such a personal song like In the Mourning with a classic like Landslide....these three will never cease to amaze me. Favorite band since '07 and i doubt that will ever change. We are Paramore
