Parametric Bench (Grasshopper Tutorial)

In this Grasshopper tutorial, I will model a parametric bench by using three different sections and a curve as the bench's rail. First I will orient the sections on the rail and then I will sweep to produce the results. In the end, we will make the sections with "per frames".

How can I set the dimensions of the sections? Let's say I want to manufacture the bench using CNC. I would have to make the right calculations and have the dimensions on point. Seating level should be at around 45 cm from ground level, while the thickness of each section should be 2 cm for example. Also the gap between each section should be 1 cm.

When I connect the "Perp Frame" component to "Brep Plane" component, and try to create more sections of the sweep surface, but the result come out is that some sections are not perpendicular to the curve or path, and also not according to the parameter of "count", for example, I input 10, but it output 15 sections, and the 5 more sections are the twisted sections. I tried redraw the path as well as the sections. But it didn't work.

Try putting the rail and the sections in the xy postive location + be sure you draw all the sections in one direction(clockwise for example)

First you should use "Orient" component and do the nesting process. This tutorial might help for that: parametrichouse.com/parametric-bench-1/ Then you can easily bake the sections and export them from Rhino as a dxf file.
