Why do people think shes faking? She couldn't wake up. To test if you're concious or not, they'll rub their knuckle on your sternum or pinch the dip in your collar bone as it creates a shock of pain. It'll usually wake people up. But obviously it didn't work on her so she was genuinely ill. Seizures don't always have a straight forward cause and can cause anything from mild confusion afterwards or full blown coma or death. Seizures are always serious

100% agree. As a paramedic and a nurse, they would NEVER intubate someone that doesn't need it. Shes clearly very sick.

Another surefire (but crude and injury-prone) way of telling a faker is to lift their hand directly above their face - and drop it. On someone who is faking unconsciousness, the hand will „magically“ drop off to the side and miss their face. Alternatively, the person is going to flinch. In a person who is very low on the GCS index, their hand will hit them square in the face. Plot twist: when performing this maneuver while other people are nearby, a paramedic might say something like „okay, I will now perform a simple neurological test to verify if they are responsive. If they are genuinely out, the hand will flop to the side. Alright, here we go.“ (complete bogus story obviously) Et voilá: in one fell swoop the faker has not only admitted to faking, but also that their hearing and understanding are perfectly good. This is best used only on people where you are at least 90% sure they’re faking it and you’re done with their BS.

Notice at 4:10, the proper method of task delegation, the doctor doesn’t ask “ can someone get me a blanket”, he finds a specific person, and makes it their responsibility. Very important in a confused and stressful scene. We can use the same when asking for help! Hands busy but need to call emergency services? Find a person that isn’t immediately helping, describe them using their clothing and make it their job to call.

I'm actually surprised this was so straightforward for an epileptic episode😂 Usually the most interesting part of epilepsy responses is when someone punches the patient/paramedic/bystander in the face or steals the ambulance or something. As an epileptic myself I'm well-acquainted with people absolutely losing their minds when a seizure happens. I guess all the people in the comments accusing her of 'faking it' will have to make up the crazy quota for this lady.

I become very tired as well can sleep almost a full 6 hours after having one and still sleep at night. Confused and disoriented. I can barely form a complete sentence without stuttering or completely forgetting what I was talking about in the middle of talking. And very cold. Somehow I end up losing body heat. I did post a super long comment so apologies if this is a double post, seems to have disappeared for me. I'm not a farmer by a long stretch so don't take this as fact, but I believe it's to do with the condition of the soil. Certain crops can remove nutrients, so farmers have to restore these nutrients through other plants or animals (and the natural fertilizer that comes with them) every few years. Also, by not growing the same thing year after year in one field, pests don't have adequate time to reproduce, meaning in the long run the farmer loses less money through wasted crop.

Looks like a case of carelessness & clumsiness, she’s not wearing the motorcycle riding kit. Imagine if she had wobbled to the oncoming traffic, she would have traumatised an innocent driver for the rest of their live.

People think she’s faking because it is a TV series based perhaps on real clinical cases and medical emergencies but interpreted by actors. The most annoying and bogus thing is the frantic editing to underline and dramatize the situation.... the victim is a gorgeous mature cougar with hips...mmhhh

oh yes because TV producers can afford a helicopter worth around £4.5 Million, All medical equipment, and helicopter fuel. And can also afford to run it everyday, multiple times, for over a year, which might i add, to run one of these for a year costs £1.6 Million They can also afford to puncture holes in actors and relieve pressure from the brain in the street, right? Get over yourself
