He broke his neck and remember your brain is in your head. Your neck connects your head to the rest of the body. No wonder he couldn’t feel much.

I’m pretty sure on the full episode he had spinal fractures so; as well as a broken neck
Meanwhile my frequent flyers call an ambulance 12 times a month and claim to be in 17/10 pain due to their hangnail !
Brilliant team work by everyone to help get him to safety
30f down and I cracked my head falling a foot or few falling off a railing he is incredibly lucky
I’ve done this. Don’t remember any of it. Was shit faced.

40 years ago i fell 40 feet of a cliff in Country Antrim, Northern Ireland as I stopped to take a piss. I was walking home with two girls I shared a flat with. We were all drunk and when a car arrived and offered them a lift they forgot about me. After hours I woke up and climbed the cliff and hailed a car and got a lift to Portrush where I lived even though the driver said he should take me to hospital. I went into the flat outraged they left me sleeping on the beach (I had no idea I had fallen). One look at me and they ran to a phone box to dial 999 (no mobiles then and we were students). I had a nasty concussion and a huge bruise that extended across one side of my body and most embarrassingly still had my dick out. I only spent a few hours in the hospital and the doctors were amazed. I gave my flatmates hell when I got home. They still say sorry.

How the heck did he not have more severe injuries is beyond me, very fortunate indeed next time he is out climbing he should definitely have a helmet on and take this as a lucky warning.

MissyMay it’s not his fault he fell off the cliff in the first place though is it?? Fair enough he wasn’t wearing a helmet but he got very lucky and got away with it. I’m sure that would be enough to make him realise he needs to wear one 247
