Parambikulam is one of the premier Tiger Reserves of India situated in the Palakkad district of Kerala. The journey to Parambikulam passes through Nenmara and Kollengode in Kerala and then into Anamalai Tiger Reserve in Tamilnadu. After driving for 45 minutes we get into Kerala again and will reach the famous Parambikulam Tiger Reserve.
A jungle safari in the forest department bus will costs you 400 Rs. / head and the safari takes around 1.5 hours. There are high chances of animal sighting in the evening.
Private vehicles are not allowed into the reserve forest without permission.
Parambikulam checkpost will close by 6pm and make sure that you exit the checkpost by that time.
