A few things I've learned as an entrepreneur is making sure I'm eating well, sleeping well, drinking enough water make a huge difference in anxiety/frustration/shortness/etc. Someone once told me "it is a fact that we feel, but our feelings aren't facts."

So glad I found you! This is exactly how I’m feeling as I’m starting my level up process. I found it so weird that I have on and off feelings of fear, anxiety, anxiousness. I literally thought something was wrong with me lol. I need to operate in spite of them and just know my brain is just doing that think again. Thanks so much - your wisdom is beautiful.

There’s a huge problem in entrepreneurship today where people are unable to take the time needed to relax and recollect. This video is hugely important because it shows what to do in these stressful situations.

High Demand + Lack of clarity = Overwhelm Usually the things that feel bad & the things we know we must do (but are uncomfortable) in-order to get us to live the life we want to live & achieve our goals cause stress. Usually thing that make us feel good (like video games, smoking weed, excessive compulsive ejaculation/masterbation/sex, sugary/fatty foods, socializing just to cuz you feel bad, partying, etc) Drag us down & away from our goals & lives that we want want to live. Our brain is focused on survival & shortcuts to dopamine hits. It doesn’t care about success or what makes logical sense. (Cognitive distortions) High demands that we self impose upon ourselves because we want to live a certain life that cause us to feel stressed & we judge these emotions as something that we should avoid & we resist it which in turn makes the pressure of that emotion stronger. Instead just viewing that emotion as something normal & something that will pass. It’s not that things are so overwhelming, but the meaning you give to things that cause you stress. Lack of clarity is lack of game plan & education. Make a game plan & educate yourself. Your brain likes to make expectations because it likes patterns because it wants to make sure it survives. Cognitive distortions that lead to overwhelm Must be a certain way, if not you feel horrible. Musterbating Black & white filter. Ignoring all positives & focusing only on the negatives Overgeneralize that things that happened once will always happen in the future

My business partner does this to herself all the time. Wanting to rate the meetings and picking apart all the imperfections. While there is always room for improvement, it doesn't need to add to our stresses. I am to be honest and impactful for my audience. It seems to resonate be of more value than trying to orchestrate this image of serenity. Business can be chaos and like any good rock and roll fan we embrace this and thrive.

I’ve been stuck in a cycle where I feel overwhelmed because I’m not doing enough to reach my goal, yet I’ve been feeling guilty of « putting myself under so much stress because self-care is important and blablabla ». Sometimes self-care is pushing through the challenging stuff so we gain evidence we can do it and we make sh*t happen & become stronger as a result. I needed this reframe. Thanks again

I lead an historically successful company, I have learned that success isn’t due to making the correct decisions. Instead success due to the way we choose to interpret the meaning of the results observed. How organizational leaders choose to “process reality” determines the worldview of the company. This worldview forms an invisible set of assumptions that frame every decision within your organization…pay attention to how you interpret the world…it is the leader’s most important job.

I am curious how to find the balance between good stress/overwhelm (that can be managed effectively like this) vs unhealthy stress/overwhelm that literally kills you over time and is known to cause complications like cancer. I am a big believer in listening to our body as well. Perhaps the secret is to never stop exercising, eating healthy, sleeping well, and getting regular checkups to make sure your health doesn't go off the rails while going after big dreams.
