A few things I've learned as an entrepreneur is making sure I'm eating well, sleeping well, drinking enough water make a huge difference in anxiety/frustration/shortness/etc. Someone once told me "it is a fact that we feel, but our feelings aren't facts."

The struggle is real... as they say. Whenever I get on something that really turns be on - I forget / push aside exactly these things.
So glad I found you! This is exactly how I’m feeling as I’m starting my level up process. I found it so weird that I have on and off feelings of fear, anxiety, anxiousness. I literally thought something was wrong with me lol. I need to operate in spite of them and just know my brain is just doing that think again. Thanks so much - your wisdom is beautiful.

You are HUMAN! Promise nothing is wrong with you :) You got this!
There’s a huge problem in entrepreneurship today where people are unable to take the time needed to relax and recollect. This video is hugely important because it shows what to do in these stressful situations.
High Demand + Lack of clarity = Overwhelm Usually the things that feel bad & the things we know we must do (but are uncomfortable) in-order to get us to live the life we want to live & achieve our goals cause stress. Usually thing that make us feel good (like video games, smoking weed, excessive compulsive ejaculation/masterbation/sex, sugary/fatty foods, socializing just to cuz you feel bad, partying, etc) Drag us down & away from our goals & lives that we want want to live. Our brain is focused on survival & shortcuts to dopamine hits. It doesn’t care about success or what makes logical sense. (Cognitive distortions) High demands that we self impose upon ourselves because we want to live a certain life that cause us to feel stressed & we judge these emotions as something that we should avoid & we resist it which in turn makes the pressure of that emotion stronger. Instead just viewing that emotion as something normal & something that will pass. It’s not that things are so overwhelming, but the meaning you give to things that cause you stress. Lack of clarity is lack of game plan & education. Make a game plan & educate yourself. Your brain likes to make expectations because it likes patterns because it wants to make sure it survives. Cognitive distortions that lead to overwhelm Must be a certain way, if not you feel horrible. Musterbating Black & white filter. Ignoring all positives & focusing only on the negatives Overgeneralize that things that happened once will always happen in the future

One of the best comments I’ve ever read! Thank you! 😃👏
Appreciate the insights on this topic! Also, legit didn’t think you had a shirt on till 15min in 😂
Counselors always say to eliminate stress. Thank you for giving a different prospective.
My business partner does this to herself all the time. Wanting to rate the meetings and picking apart all the imperfections. While there is always room for improvement, it doesn't need to add to our stresses. I am to be honest and impactful for my audience. It seems to resonate be of more value than trying to orchestrate this image of serenity. Business can be chaos and like any good rock and roll fan we embrace this and thrive.
Asking “why” to your shoulds, musts, and have to’s, pierces through a lot of harmful narratives
I'm so glad Leila brought up this point of overwhelm as it's a totally natural flip side of the success coin and yet with all this "be happy" fab it makes us hustlers feel inadequate
You’re absolutely amazing Leila Hormozi. It’s fucking unfair that people compare you to Alex, you guys are genuinely 2 Kings.
Perfect timing, thank you for posting this!❤
There is a point where being hard on yourself is no longer productive. That's just what I needed to hear. Thank you kindly
Really needed this .. in the middle of making a decision on a business thank you 🙏
Thank you for this video! It was exactly what I needed to hear.
Thank you and Alex for your insight. The thought that this free is mind-blowing
Favorite vid you’ve made, thanks for this one. Really good 🙏
This is such a great video! I just wrote a big note in my apartment that says “what story am i making up in my head thats making me feel anxious/depressed/stressed etc.” because sometimes I get so stuck in my head that I need this reminder to snap me out of it. Also “should” is a big one! We tell ourselves stories that drives us crazy lol - thank you so much for sharing this.
Thanks for this…. Not much else to be expressed but appreciation 🖤
your passion is palpable. You add so much inspiration and value to the world! Thank you for sharing your knowledge and experiences with us!
This was spot on, not only for business but also for any transformation one is embarking on. Uncomfortable just means we are out of our comfort zone.
I am OBSESSED w you. This was exactly what I needed to hear, thank you!!
Thank you so much for this video! It means so much to me. It's definitely one I'll watch on repeat.

I absolutely love this and alex's channel. Thank you so much Leila. I feel the need to put a comment on every nugget of wisdom you and alex impart on us. Working through life with these first principles truly is a game changer. Almost 1 month into my first business. Current job teetering on the edge. Father incapcitated through dialysis surgery. I needed this. Thank you so much!
This is absolutely gold. I truly believe internalizing the lessons in this video can lift a lifetime of burdens. Thanks Leila.

Thank you. Needed to hear this.
Great points here. I've been really focusing on what my self talk is saying so I can observe it and interrupt it. I like how you framed these scenarios. Provided some clarity on overwhelm, which I definitely experience a lot
WOW- thank you!!!!! Such perfect timing

Watching this as I am powering through things that don't feel good but are completely necessary for my growth and next level 6:12am. I don't fight it; I just listen to Leila Hormozi as I do the work.
Wow. Thank you. I am completely overwhelmed with school right now and this is exactly what I needed to hear. I have succumbed to the black and white thinking and "musterbation" you were talking about. Bringing these thoughts to light has brought so much relief.
This is really good stuff. Glad I found your videos. Very helpful.

This is fantastic!! So much common sense and agree - separate thoughts from facts
Sooo helpful. The way you break this all down makes everything so easy to understand and start implementing step by step. The mental confusion really trips me up, so will be working through this video step by step. Overwhelm has been my biggest mental obstacle all my life. Thank you again for another amazing share from your life experience.
Great Leila! I shared with my wife because just this AM we discussed overwhelm because we're pushing various BIG revenue projects. All the Best!
You and the hub are the best!
"Don't should on yourself or others" is a similar phrase that someone told me once. Thank you for the reminder and confirming that nothing is broken that needs fixed, just be aware of what is and isn't real.
I just discovered you, you’re amazing!
You are a wise being, so great to learn from you and Alex, you both have so common sense down to earth mindset, you are inspiring me to improve my skills and show up and share my strenghts and learn from my weaknesses no to push them under the carpet. You are legit, i wish much growth, health, happiness, peace and wealth!
Thank you for consistently delivering above and beyond Leila. This gave me so much clarity!

This was incredibly helpful. Thank you so much!!!
Ive watch this multiple times and needed to hear this.
This video is seriously great. This women is insane (in a good way). Thank you Leila, so much.
Thank you again, I appreciate your honesty and incredible intelligence.
as soon as you said "High demand low clarity" I knew exactly why I felt stressed today. Forgot to take a break, and plan
This was GOLD right here. Thank you so much, Leila. I’ve been stuck in a cycle where I feel overwhelmed because I’m not doing enough to reach my goal, yet I’ve been feeling guilty of « putting myself under so much stress because self-care is important and blablabla ». Sometimes self-care is pushing through the challenging stuff so we gain evidence we can do it and we make sh*t happen & become stronger as a result. I needed this reframe. Thanks again
Excellent video. Very insightful and thanks for the labels in the lower part. It helps illuminate the important parts
30 seconds in, I wanted to weep with gratitude!!! Thank you Leila! I’ve NEVER heard anyone speak about overwhelm and be so on the nose! I have been paralyzed for about 2 years now. Working on the business at a slow crawl. Traumatized and scared of each step. Constantly thinking I would blow everything up with one wrong move. I’m saving this I’m listening to this over and over, I’m gonna take notes and excerpts. This video was an answered prayer. You and Alex are priceless! Blessings to you🙏🏾
such a relieve to watch this, I am feeling overwhelmed or anxious on a daily basis and still, I am only focused on growth! Learning to accept that this is normal, because I chose this path. Very helpful to hear that even such a successful person like yourself, Leila, experiences the same shitty thoughts as I do. :D Thank you for these videos, they are very helpful.

..and, you are so genuine and natural in these videos. "If you want to feel huge good feelings, you have to be willing to feel the huge bad feelings". ( just bookmarked the video to watch it daily!)
This video is timeless. Thanks Leila!
This came to me exactly when I needed it I'm getting past these paralyzing thoughts and emotions at the moment. Thank you ❤ your super inspiring
Nice work highlighting unhelpful narratives of identity and fear. And even moreso, good work highlighting “accepting” of the feeling and ideas. Most people repress these, thinking that leads toward freedom.
You know you are the best, great reminder my friend, I learned that a little while ago from Abraham's Hicks, Remember " Everything is always working out for me." Everything works out when we allow, stay present, breath, trust the process and enjoy the journey...🤴🤴🤴🤴🤴
Great advice here. You and Alex are sharing great wisdom.

Thank you Leila for that I thought I was alone. I'm glad there's someone out there that has the same issues as me. I will take your suggestion I'm going to play this video on repeat until I understand myself more. And actually I do read Albert Ellis he's one of my favorite authors dealing with psychiatry.
Leila I love this! I used to struggle with overwhelm and everything you’ve said is 💯 🎉true! I’m a media advisor and I train and support change makers to get visible by PR - and what you said is SO true that people fear PR interviews and being featured but mustn’t let it hold them back 😅
Thankyou Leila, this was just the video I needed! with love x

Awesome video, so glad that I subscribed to your channel
I lead an historically successful company, I have learned that success isn’t due to making the correct decisions. Instead success due to the way we choose to interpret the meaning of the results observed. How organizational leaders choose to “process reality” determines the worldview of the company. This worldview forms an invisible set of assumptions that frame every decision within your organization…pay attention to how you interpret the world…it is the leader’s most important job.
Omg that is soooo correct Overwhelm = high demand + low clarity. No wonder I've felt overwhelmed for the last 7years since I started hating practicing medicine. Because I know that I want to succeed, I want to do things but I didn't know what to do, and how to pivot from the medical field.
Leila❤ thank you so very much! It helps me so much. Just today is a Day where I got so overwhelmed. Love you❤
Thank you Leila! I have been playing life way too safe because I feel paralyzed by being overwhelmed. I’m going to replay this video every time I am afraid to dive into what I know I should be executing on. Your words are amazing, thank you!

Ok you have to make more videos like this…. So good 🙌🏼
You are at the 'unconscious competence' level here, I don't think you even realise just how inspirational you are. You speak as if you can read what's in my head. I pray that God continues to bless you and keep you highly favoured with full abundance in everything you wish for.
So smart Leila 👌🏻

Great video. Thanks! I am curious how to find the balance between good stress/overwhelm (that can be managed effectively like this) vs unhealthy stress/overwhelm that literally kills you over time and is known to cause complications like cancer. I am a big believer in listening to our body as well. Perhaps the secret is to never stop exercising, eating healthy, sleeping well, and getting regular checkups to make sure your health doesn't go off the rails while going after big dreams.
Thank you so much I wrote down 5 pages of notes the medication fact is so true. Can you be my mentor I felt overwhelmed and now after watching this I feel an overwhelming sense of relief
Wow. Thank you so much for this ❤
This video has been really helpful
Thank you… sigh.. this is a big relief.
You genuinely just blew my fucking mind, this is unreal. Thank you, this is arguably the best information I've ever heard, you are amazing at explaining things and using emotion/passion to describe them. Thank you Leila! :)
