@@jadacampbell9331 I didn't know that, she's certainly a good actor and had 1st seen her in a Netflix role with Zoe Saldana. I recently watched her in The Devil to Pay, which she also produced. She's absolutely making an impression on the screen. Hoping her career will take her far.🙌🏽 I don't watch anything Tyler Perry because of his duplicitous nature and his association with Oprah Winfrey. Snakes in the grass. Not supporting either of them.
I still can't believe how him, and his brother both came from Martin's big momma's house to being some of the best actors ever in Hollywood. That's goals. I can't wait to watch this.
I first saw her in an episode of Atlanta and she rocked it. So glad shes leading movies😊

Why do people always bring up race? Truly? Its as if they are looking for affirmation or appreciation or support because of how they look, vs the quality of work they produce.
@ragtimeraver
4 ай бұрын
@@kuzadupa185 When an entire demographic of people have been systematically excluded from something because of the way they look, it matters when those barriers are lowered and people are finally given the opportunity to create films in previously prohibited genres. Merely pointing that out isn't really looking for affirmation, appreciation, or support. It doesn't even have to do with quality, it's just acknowledging the expanded opportunity.

@@kuzadupa185 Race does matter, but not in the way you might initially think. Growing up in the 70s, I witnessed stark disparities in TV shows. The Brady Bunch showcased a harmonious white family in a spacious home, while Good Times portrayed a black family in the projects. The Partridge family had white characters enjoying extraordinary adventures, while Sanford and Son depicted black characters living in a junkyard. Despite shows like the Jeffersons, positive representations of black individuals were scarce. The media often portrayed people of color as criminals, slaves, or servants, shaping the perspectives of young children. Hollywood's tendency to believe only movies with white leads succeed led to instances of whitewashing, as seen in Ghost in the Shell and Gods of Egypt. It's crucial for people of color to see themselves in diverse roles, both in front of and behind the camera. Representation matters, and the narrative should be shaped by individuals from various backgrounds, ensuring a more inclusive and accurate portrayal of experiences in the entertainment industry. If you're white, the historical control of narratives may not have crossed your mind, but it's time for a shift, allowing everyone to see themselves on screen and know they belong in Hollywood.

This looks awesome. Good to see the Hodge brothers together!
My brothers and I experienced this on two separate occasions when we were very young. It truly happened - we were walking in a loop over and over. Also, one of our friends experienced this. He felt that something was watching him from behind, so out of fear, he ran to their house from the waiting shed along the road - covering a distance of about 30 meters only. I told him that I was walking the same path he mentioned but didn't see him, yet he insisted that he was running and felt like he was running in a loop. When he reached their house, he asked for water and was sweating profusely. Wearing your shirt and pants inside out is advised if you experience this phenomenon because it's like the antidote to this occurrence.
It's good to see The Hodge Brothers in a movie together!! Both talented and good looking. Danielle is very talented as well!
Films called "parallel" involving other dimensions always have been good to me: Parallels (2015) Parallel (2018) I hope this doesn't break the pattern.

To be honnest I finished pararallel 2024 I personally didn't really like it, maybe I had high expectations: spoiler alert: I didn't think it was riveting averall but the part that made me stop watching is when alex tries to kill vanessa ... why ? He simply says it's because it's not his vanessa, ideally you woudn't try to kill someone with a gun just for that. I would only see that reaction plausible for like a clinically crazy crackhead or something but the way the husband alex is introduced is not at all as someone mentally crazy. But that's just me, it doesn't mean it's a bad movie, I just don't like this kind of weirdnes, I like when they tweak physical reality but not what I think is believable human behaviour to that extent.
I liked her in Station Eleven, she was good, and her character made me cry.

Yes!!! That's where I know her from!
Very good movie. I'm pretty predictable to figure out but I did have my theory about a few things. I'm late But whenever saw her to leave the entire house to a most of them, some kind of barrier. It's most kind of barrier around the house. That's why I remember solve I'm using going to town. The concept of the movie was good. And I gave it up 13 out of 13 skulls and I said that. I know this one came out and I would have paid to go see this at the show.
What in the 'Dark' is going on here?! But seriously, getting good 'Dark' vibes from this. Looks good!

Oh, man, this is a movie you would probably need to watch more than once to *fully* understand. Looks good, though. Imagine gunning yourself through the woods. Really freaky.
Okay y'all, is this considered a horror movie? I can't do horror but this looks good!
I love seeing the Hodge brothers together in the same movie. Such a great duo. I cant wait to watch this.
I love think-piece sci-fi. Complex premise, but execution on a small scale. Looking forward to seeing this!
This looks good. I love the spin of psychological deterioration due to some temporal loop only perceived by one person. That leaves a lot of creativity for the suspense and intrigue as well as twists. Its also refreshing to see a black cast in a science fiction horror. I feel like we are breaking new ground here.
Aldis Hodge is SO good at playing the uninformed lover role. "You crazy but imma ride this out". He always finds out in the end, and rides it out too. I cannot wait for thjs.
