so, my younger sister asked me to help her solve an unknown angle problem and I couldn't quite figure it out. I went looking for information and then I found this video. The high I got from figuring it out is was euphoric. It's been over a decade since I've taken a math class and I want to thank you for putting this out there. I needed a win lol

hello! I used alternate interior angle rule to get 3x-200 = x. Then, you can add 200 to both sides of the equation to get 3x=x+200. Then you can subtract x from both sides of the equation to get 2x=200. Then you divide both sides by 2 to get x=100

#3 is easy Angle 3 = 70° (linear pair) To solve for Angle 1, take note of the corresponding angle of the given 120° and Angle 1 form a Linear Pair, Angle 1 = 60° Then for Angle 2, we simply use the Interior Angles of a Triangle Theorem. 70°+x+60°=180° x+130°=180° x= 50°

I don't really know what we really gained from school. I had to understand the lesson in class. I don't know. The students gets really tired. He comes home and looks for an explanation of the lessons that the teachers should have understood to the students.

Hi! The x angle and the 80 deg angle aren’t alt interior angles. But the two angles I highlighted in blue at 1:12 are alt interior angles which means they are equal (and both 80 degrees). This helps you then solve for x

super late response but hoping it will help you or someone else! to get to 2x=200, I subtracted x from both sides of the equation, and then added 200 to both sides of the equation all in one step (i combined these two steps into one, but you can separate them out also!)

Because the line is 180, a straight line, so she subtracted 80 from 180 to find the x The two angles equal 180 which is why it's a supplementary angle
