PARALLEL AXIS THEOREM - Proof || in HINDI
In this Physics (Mechanics) video lecture in Hindi for class 11 we proved the parallel axis theorem for moment of inertia. The derivation or the proof of the formula is very simple. We have to consider a rectangular coordinate system with the centre of mass of the object at the origin.
With this theorem moment of inertia of any object rotating about any axis can be found out very easily. We only need to know the moment of inertia of the same object rotating about an axis parallel to the previous axis and passing through the center of mass of that object.
