The team released a totally broken, empty, toddler-less Sims 4 base game and simmers said “Take my money, already🤑✨” EA said “no more open world for you guys, starting... now” and simmers said “💁‍♀️💰” This was the perfect community to scam tbh

EA doesnt have competence until now at lifesim games so they really dont need to make any effort because you dont really have other choices to play the genre.

Imagine now u can actually decorate a teenager rooms properly! Like walls plastered with posters, anime, k-pop, etc. Like you can literally have a para who have the same likes as you 😍

I hope I'm financially well-off and have minimal responsibilities by the time it comes out because I feel like I'm about to spend several days worth of time playing the game and ignoring everything else in life...

Oh God! It feels like I'll finally be able to love the characters I make instead of constantly being reminded that they're just a bunch of codes with no personality at all. I see myself being so thoughtful and delighted with my Paras, hanging up their pictures around the house, making sure the kids are properly tucked into bed and watching the cute mid-sleep animations I'm sure you guys will add, watching my elders sit down to watch the sunset on their last days... I can't wait to finally play with life.

Just reading these comments is so joyful. I've never seen people so hyped for a game and have it constantly exceeding expectations.

if you are talking about the game that should not be named, you can put pictures of your sims in the wall by making the other sim take a picture of them or using the take a selfie interaction. but you cannot take a family portrait, or change the size of the picture of the frame.

@@giicupcake I know about this feature, but it's so annoying Mostly bc the in game camera (in "take photo" mode) has terrible controls, besides that, for some unknown reason, the photo quality is terrible (referring to "normal" quality photos) And on top of that, if you try to resize them, the photo quality becomes even worst;-;-;

As always - peaceful music, pleasant sound effects, beautiful lightning, relaxed ambience and new features that make me scream from excitement. It's like... like someone is saying "I understand you, I understand what makes you happy, and I will do my best to make a game that brings you joy". It's a very comfortable feeling.

This game isn’t even out yet and it’s already so amazing!

It truly is the small things.

As much as I really want this game to come out soon I appreciate them taking their time and refining all the little and big things that make the game play so amazing. If this took years and years to come out and I didn’t get to play this until I was in my retirement I would be happy because I know I’ll be getting a quality game. They just think of all the little things that make such a great simulation game

It would be a dream if parafolks could have family portraits. They could be assigned individually in a seat. Others could be standing. The toddlers could be on their parents' lap or carried by them then they would all get their family picture taken. I'd love an extended family portraits. When they would have family gatherings per year or they could have have family pictures taken every occasions like Christmas. Paralives sounds so much fun and I'm so excited for it! I don't even care when it will come out. I am also excited for more updates. Thank you for the hard work and for everything that you do. Team Paralives 💯❤️

Paralives lets you customize anything down to the smallest detail. I love it!

I love how he was able to apply a picture from his computer into the picture frame, as well as the pillow. In my opinion, that's going to be so much easier to do, than downloading loads of Custom content art. It's adds a lot of variety and creativity.

I mean, it's technically doable for each parafolk to have their own ID of sorts that could be used for a number of things, like for setting item ownerships and preferences... And then it could be used for the photos of them and for the relationship system as well (and memories if that'll be a thing), so 'folks will have different reactions based on how they feel about someone

@@Mldy96 Uggghh... imagine a parafolk gazing happily at a photo of their best friend while an enemy of the friend looks annoyed if they view it OR IF THEIR REACTION TO THE PHOTO CHANGES BASED ON RECENT EVENTS!!! I.e. an ex used to smile at their partner's photo and it makes them sad right after the breakup, but their reaction changes as time passes and they are now neutral, glad, mad, etc. when they view it. Maybe a parent gets worried when seeing a photo because they haven't talked to their child in a few days after they moved out OR a sibling knocks the photo over because they had a fight, but they come back to pick it up after one of them apologizes. That sounds extremely detailed and work intensive, but would be so much fun to see!!

I wouldn't, from what we're seeing in these videos it's just a house customisation game at this point, no real gameplay loop to it. But when that gets added, and when it's good, it would be unfortunate if it isn't given an appropriately high price tag. Game devs deserve to be rewarded for their work.

@Elif Akcan I know it's not. Which is why paying $100 for it now is a stupid idea. Then again, the gameplay loop should be at least designed _before_ the game even entered production. Until that's done, I'll remain appropriately sceptical.
