K1d Nova I can see that. While I agree that Leffen is much better than Hbox in terms of tech skill, Hbox has the clutch factor in big situations, which make Hbox overall better. Honestly, I think Lucky & Hax (in terms of tech skill) are much better than Leffen, but Leffen has that same "clutch factor" advantage over them, which carries over to his tourney results. Tech skill can only get you so far, you have to be able to clutch it out on the big stage.

+The Alchemist League compared to how Leffen is getting outplayed now no one thought m2k had it anymore. So there is difference in the 9-1 scenario right now compared to leffen winning those other sets. Leffen got cocky and he got what was coming. No offense to Leffen he has the skill but I think Westballz is still better than him and the smash gods are still better in my opinion. I am not down playing his skills I am calling it from what I am seeing. seems like the smash gods are all coming back after all they were all looking pretty shaky but now they are coming back into it.

You know what the best part here is? M2K wasn't even playing all that well. He dropped multiple chaingrabs and combos with Marth and dropped a few things with Sheik.

CryMan McBosselot He was out of practice aswell. That said, Leffen plays the more demanding character. Or more precisely, The way Leffen is playing is much more technical. Please note that i am not saying that Leffen would have won had he practiced

That was insane. M2K is so on this season, and the Robot has picked up an Upgrade. He's not a Porygon-2 anymore, he's got himself a Dubious Disk and is deadlier than ever!

Pretty much the only player that can match skills against Mew2King at his best is Mang0. Probably the 2 best smashers of all time. The rivalry between Mang0 and Mew2King is like Liverpool v Manchester United in football or Rafael Nadal v Roger Federer in tennis. Some of the most enjoyable games in history is Mang0 & Mew2King

United and City are both from Manchester yes, but Man U have pretty much always been the big brother in town. City have become the better team the last year, but historywise you can't compare Man U vs Man C against Liv vs Man U

Chef EZ Mac Although he has been in the community for longer than maybe everyone, mew2king has never won a super major ever. He has won one major this year and is far from being the GOAT. Mang0 however has won 6 super majors while armada has won 4. Mang0 is the GOAT, while armada is the COAT

M2k was the best in the game for about 3 years, He had a mini Ken saga. He's also the most knowledgeable player in the game. He plays every character on the roster at a high level. (Except Yoshi) Saying he's not a GOAT doesn't seem fair to him

I keep watching this set over and over. It was just that good.

I just realized Leffen would look like a stereotypical goth guy if he put on some makeup, a spiked collar, black hair dye and gel to spike it Also, the commentators are so right, it's mesmerizing to see M2K play really good

Mew2King is so much fun to watch, I love seeing him do well. His edge guards are on point! Him and Mango are for sure my favorite to watch, both have such good style. Leffen is so textbook it's boring af.

3:43 Something really interesting about almost every competitive gamer is that they rarely blink in comps and even time their blinks to when the opponent is in hitstun or between stocks. (Look at Leffen's eyes)

Well he says marth is tied to his emotional state whereas his sheik is really consistent, so it's a feeling thing from what he says. Also he went marth this set bc FD.

I gotta say leffen's biggest mistake was to go to dreamland on game two because honestly he got destroyed there and I believe it's m2k's best stage as sheik. By the time game 3 came it was too late win or lose because either he loses there and set's over or he wins and gets destroyed on fd which did happen

+justinsaber32 Actually I think Leffen played pretty well games 1 and 2. Mew2king just outplayed him on several occasions in neutral and reading Leffens techs like they were kindergarten books. Leffen has also beaten M2K on FD, so that match up isn't impossible. Basically, it's all about M2K getting back into form and being a beast and the game.
