Mi amigo Carlos, piloto agrícola , dice que los cables no se ven pero sí los postes o las torres que los sostienen.¡ Muy afortunado! Saludos desde Argentina.

Power line is the most obstable that used to scaring me when flying

I would suggest your landing zone selection needs a lot of improvement. This is the second video of yours where you have just cleared power. Picking an LZ and arriving with height overhead to confirm and check for power is good practice

Yep really risky, small turbulence or negative vario and that's how you hit the cables. Also sometimes there is an extra cable higher and smaller thus less visible: you see it too late

Irisked a lot, but aware that I won't do it again. On the flight we have to make quick decisions and definitely that was not the best. Best flights!

@@tmnparagliding782 great response from Matias - be humble enough to learn from mistakes. Couple of suggestions - lighten up on the brakes mate, let your bird fly. Also - only comes with experience which with these flights, you're getting - realise how far / how NOT far, your speed bar will take you.

Hi there, i watched some of your Videos and i'm really concerned about your safety. Do you got a proper education on this subject? I got my licence in Austria and a lot of your actions would be considered unaccapteble dangerous and some are forbidden by law. And even if you don't need any licence in your area, i would highly recommend youtube-tutorials. There is a lot of good content out there. For example "flying with greg". Especially windsystems and how to respond to them is a urgent subject for you. Maybe a SIV-Training would help you to stay calm and think rational. You have my respect for sharing your videos, so beginners can learn. And there ist a lot to learn in your videos, wich makes them kind of a treasure :-) I wish you the best, good progress and always a safe landing.

Good evening, I happen to know this pilot. He's a friend of mine... He is getting instruction, one the the most reputable schools in this country and imo is a super dedicated pilot and fast learner. You see a lot of people resist criticism, not here. These videos are picked/edited because they show mistakes/close calls. The whole idea of the channel is to help other pilots by contributing to the conversation on (bad) flying situations. Of course anyone can become panicky/irrational but I confess im not sure what part of the video you are referring to? Also, please don't take this the wrong way, when(what videos?) were wind systems management so clearly a urgent subject, as you put it. The pilot in question is by no means an expert and I agree SIV type experiences would certainly benefit most anyone, including our friend here... However, he is aware of this and imo not cocky or pushing limits. He has come a long way and readily admits that big risks, far too big risks were taken in his early flying career. I would like to assure you he's a competent and crucially safe pilot. Conservative about conditions and positions (gliding without landing options, lee, cables, reserve ride prediction (as to not end up in cables)) On my part id like to thank you for your concern and kind words, we all share a unique passion and the free flight community is for me one of the nicest ive ever been fortunate enough to be a part of. Im sure this channels uploader feels the same way. Lastly, as an example of the attitude this pilot has, notice how the wing in this video (low b) is not the same as his usual (high b, gin explorer) that's because the first, I reckon , 10/15h on an unfamiliar harness (first pod) the pilot choose to use a wing with more passive safety as to have a bigger margin of safety. I think most pilots would stick with their preferred wing, especially if its (only) a en B. In all honesty I believe if more people filmed their early flights and uploaded the fails (be it actual or just risky/bad decisions) the PG community could only benefit. Most of us could come up with such a compilation but the shame keeps it from happening... Thanks again for your comment and thank you!! video uploader for this content, I hope you'll keep them coming.

Total CLIKBAIT. The title barely represents last 2 min of video. Rest of it is just "my usual paragliding flight".

P.S. and do not think that getting lucky by flying over dangerous obstacles without solid plan B and good glider control is acceptable behavior. I was once doing the same believing that time by time it happens and is OK but then one time was not OK and ended up in hospital and not walking for 6 months.
