I was going to say something like that but it would be just piling on.

THAT is not "Paragliding Gone Wrong". You wisely avoided landing at several earlier places that would have given a shorter flight. ALWAYS ignore such easy, dry, open fields and continue flying as far down into the very bottom of the canyon as possible. You get more airtime that way. VERY wise.

Where is the site, look beautiful. I would have landed somewhere around 6:21but hard to tell from the screen. Good outcome considering :-)

You have a plenty of time for avoid he lee shore , but nobody do you tell : avoid the lee shore ?
