This is a little hard to answer as it is a matter of preference but I would say if the upcharge isn't too much, I would go for it. It was nice having a dedicated person to contact at the resort if we had any questions, additionally, it was also nice having a reserved part of the resort available for us to use. Probably the coolest part was having a reserved Cabana every single day of our stay. 👍

Hi was this the Deluxe Ocean View Junior Suite?

Were face masks required indoors while walking around? I know most buffets require them while getting food but I was curious about general walking through buildings. Thanks!

They were recommended - but if you were going from the pool to your room (for example) they weren't hardcore on enforcement. Everyone was wearing them for the most part and were good at cleaning and keeping social distancing requirements. We would wear them when possible or heading to a restaurant, but were able to take them off once we got to our table to eat. :)

Hello, nice video. When you book a reserve room, do you get all the reserve perks? Or is there another upgrade to purchase

Nope! If you have a "Reserve" Room you get all the perks that come with it! You also will get assigned a personal concierge to assist you with restaurant and cabana reservations and much more. Enjoy!

I’m going to be staying here soon. I’m just curious if you can keep the slippers/robe and eat out of the fridge as part of the all inclusive or if it’s extra? Thanks!

No, we were not able to keep the robe or slippers. As far as the refrigerator goes, it's unlimited. They'll also ask you what your preferences are and stock accordingly. There's also a 24-hour menu available for room service. 👍 There's also a 24-hour menu available for room service. Room service was superb!

In our instance it was, however always do the math. I was comparing numbers by going through the booking process directly with the resort versus the Costco package and with the bonuses that the Costco package provided, it was a much better deal by going through Costco. As always, comparison shop as it may or may not be a better deal.

Hello Kader, To answer your questions: 1. Construction Yes there was construction on going in the central pyramid (right in the middle) where the restaurant and bar is. Activity was loud and only during the day, but yes there was construction. 2. Restaurants Open? All of them were open except for one. (the one located right on the beach). The recent tropical storms in the area caused some damage this part of the resort - which closed it. 3. Food/Beach/Other This might be suited for another follow-up video, but the food was good. (personally, I wish it was a bit spicier) - there was open clubs and shows and night, but due to COVID, the hours were limited with everything wrapping up by 11pm local time.

Hey Courtney! We were told that due to the construction, some rooms were unavailable in the Reserve Tower. It definitely worked out as you mentioned, we were central to everything. :)

Easy to book - Costco Travel took care of all the specifics. :) Once we arrived, since we were Reserve customers, we had a personal concierge check us in directly and then give us a tour of the resort. It was a pretty smooth and easy experience.

Did they discount the room since they have you the queens instead?

I tried, but no they didn't. The Double Queen* is the same price as the single King. They offered to put us in the King for Day 2, but I didn't want to go through the trouble of moving rooms.

Hello, why the sea level is so high? It looks like the whole beach isn‘t there anymore. Another questions: how much money you have to spent to borrow some golf clubs for 1 hour? Best regards

Could be a perspective thing, but it didn't seem high or weird to us. I know that just prior to our arrival there was a tropical storm that came over the area. And I'm not sure on charges for Golf as we did not play during our stay. :)

For us, the price difference was only about $250.00 more, but of course it depends on demand, season, etc. :) Good luck!
