Paradiski Piste Guide: How to Get From Plagne Centre to Arc 1950 4K

Paradiski is the second largest ski resort in the world. It boasts 264 pistes which totals 425 km of ski runs...insane! Paradiski links three resorts: La Plagne, Peisey & Vallandry and Les Arcs so it’s easy to get lost in this much mountain terrain! This video is here to help!
This Paradiski Piste Guide uses a detailed Paradiski map and first person perspective to take you all the way from Plagne Centre, La Plagne to Arc 1950, Les Arcs. We only use blue/easy pistes so that anyone can enjoy the journey. We show you all the gondolas, chairlifts and the Vanoise Express - one of the largest gondolas in Europe. We also show you where all the villages are located such as Plagne Villages, Plagne Soleil, Plagne Bellecote, Arc 1800 & Arc 2000.
We hope this Paradiski Piste Guide helps you plan your days exploring these epic mountains! If you have any questions let us know in the comments below!

    I stay in arc 1950/2000 and I’ve gone from les arcs to la plague once. The only annoying thing is that you only get a couple hours at most at the other end to explore because of the long trip. Once you’re a little more experienced, I’d definitely recommend it though!

    Great video. We've just booked for 2021. I've done this route many times, but normally stay in 1950. There's plenty of our group who haven't skied the paradise ski area and I can't wait to show them!

    I'm off to La Plagne in a few weeks, first time there, & I've just discovered your channel - happy days! We're staying in the motorhome aire under the Bergerie lift. Any recommendations for the best green/blue runs for wide sweeping turns on a snowboard?

    I'm going to La Plagne in March right after the French school holidays when all the children are back at school for a weeks practice after two weeks with lessons at other resorts. *IF* as a mature beginner I'm up to handling blue runs, and I feel up to it, I'll do this exploration route, but with my luck I'll probably get lost. 😟

    Bit late to answer, but maybe useful for someone else. Don't go the obvious way via Col de la Chal. Take the Bois de L'Ours lift out of 1950. From here you want to aim to pass ABOVE the the mid station of the Transarc Bubble via Arpete 3 and Charmettoger. From that point Plain Bois will take you all the way to the Vanoise cable car. Once you are back in the La Plagne area you really have a lot of options since most of the lower routes in La Plagne are easy blues.

    We found la plage villages allowed us to ski down to the largest gondola and ride all the best runs first. Either that or plagne centre but we thought plange villages was a bit nicer architecture. Enjoy!!

    If you would like to thoroughly explore both Les Arcs and La Plagne then staying in one of the villages closest to the Vanoise Express cable car may be best, eg. Peisy/ Vallandry or Montchavin/Les Coches. Then on the days you want to explore the other area you can get on the cable car early in the morning and spend the majority of the day in the other area.

    Depends where you're staying. Make sure you give yourself lots of time to get back, get the Vanoise Express by 3pm. We normally head to Col de la Chal on Les Arcs then straight down to the Vanoise in Peisey. Then once on the La Plagne side we usually take Lac Noir gondola to Bijolin chair to Crozats chair.

    Combien de temps as tu mis de plagne centre pour aller aux arcs 1950

  • @AdventuresOutHere

    @AdventuresOutHere

    4 жыл бұрын

    It would take the average skier about 2 hours one way. If you are fast and go early in the morning it will take less. Just make sure you leave yourself enough time at the end of the day to get back to your accomodation. (There can be lineups at the lifts at the very end of the day). We did it many times and the shortest time it took us was 50 minutes and the longest time was 2.5 hours. Hope that helps!
