Paradise Road Show in Palm SpringsCA with Kenneth Wrights Knucklehead Harley
Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары
This is quite a show. Palm Springs, Palm Springs Harley Davidson, wow, too many sponsors to list. But a lot of fun. Old bikes everywhere. Kenneth Wright, down from Oregon with his 47 Knucklehead, is an absolute pleasure, and quite an artist.

Your’e riding to the destination, maybe through the desert to Vegas and you are pondering that thrust washer that maybe should have been sized 0.001 thicker - that is being one with the machine and the mission. Knowing every choice that went into it - hearing the beautiful noise and all the eccentricities. 😂

I was very proud of my chassis work. The wind blew like crazy across the desert and my Shovel was stable as a big old rock.

Heck yea….love the bike - excellent work. My only thing is YA GOTTA ride it to the events - yes, it can be hard but isn’t that part of being old skool and isn’t it part of the mission? The quest? To build this thing with your love and your hands and then trust it to get you there….like down the 1 on a misty sunset from Oregon and the work you did is what is getting you there….and the only thing protecting you and shepherding you through the big bad world 😂 those two pistons you wedged into the cylinders - those gears on the counter shaft you assembled - all working together with you as their creator and then taking you to the destination - the mission, man 😅

I clicked on you and saw your bike. Other than the tour pack and seat. Your 77 is identical to what mine looked like when I bought it new in 78 (Mine is a 77) on May 20th from Harley Davidson West in Marina Del Rey California. Now, 45 years later and over 400K miles, we're still at it. She's changed a bunch. But, we're still in love.

Mine came to me in the fall of ‘98. I traded the bike i was working on a couple hours after i first saw her. Love at first sight. No tour pack and a white buddy seat, and only four thousand miles. Shes taught me alot over the years, and the adventure continues. Keep up the great work sir, i learn something from each of your videos.

Ah, the Winter sons of SoCal, blaze lighting on their chrome, so plated grove to leafy grove, those bikes look along-way-from-'home'. There's no mildew 'in' the paintwork, nor lichen on their frame, they just sit & gleam, the cream of cream, it's how they earn their fame. Form & function are dance-mates, & we must stitch their seams, so choose your cloth & cut wisely, then ride to suit your dreams. (I definitely need more tea . . . or shooting . . . would be the kindest thing really. Y'all : )

I'm sure it's over 2 gal. My Knuckle is (I believe) 2.2. I're ridden 80 miles before I stop on it. After 80 miles, this old body needs to get off my rigid frame. My Pan has a pogo post in the frame. That one, I can ride all day.
