Well, Tragic Idol and The Plague Within are in the same line as this amazing song (and album) so we can still say they are the greatest gothic metal band ever ;)

Szittya Gazell nah. they went back to their death/doom metal roots which is superior to this gothic stuff.

Completely legendary band since their "Lost Paradise" album. One of the pioneers, of british death doom!

This IS a magic song, loved it since 1993!

That guitar melody is just so hauntingly beautiful. I can't believe I'm just now getting into paradise lost.

I am building a retro nerd cave in my basement. I sit there with my Amiga computers listening to this awesome tune just like it was 1993 again . I miss being 14 years old.

I liked from "In Requiem" and forward. Personally, I think that was their bounce back trajectory but I definitely enjoy The Plague Within more than any other of their "new" albums.

You are german, right? I'm half German an half American. I live in the the unitet states, in Florida. This is one of the best metal songs ever made, in my opinion. I never get tiered listening to it.

Makintosh is right up there with Tony Iommi as being a riff master. There are so many hooks in PL songs and tempo changes. A key ingredient to their playing.

No Forgiveness is their best song, Shades of God their best album. It was my #1 metal album of all time for many years but has since been supplanted by various black metal albums. Still enjoy the nostalgia blast of some early 90's PL though. They should have been way bigger.
