the strength of tile is from proper setting technically
Do you have to use a transition strip if meeting up with ceramic tile? Can it be a schluter edging strip how much space is needed

According to the manufacturers installation instruction yes you do need to use a transition when meeting up to any fixed object such as tile. A gap approximately the same thickness of the flooring is what is recommended. With that said it is not uncommon for people to install the flooring without the use of a transition strip. Paradigm Conquest is a very dimensionally stable product so you should not have any issues with using a Schluter style molding or butting it up directly to the tile. The areas that would definitely need an expansion gap would be walls and cabinets since they are made of wood and will expand and contract. Just know that if you did ever have an issue resulting from this it would not be covered by warranty. Hope this helps.

Any luck color-matching Tower with stain? I’m out of luck, trying to get red oak landing treads to match!

You would need white oak to get a close match. The other option is to bleach the red oak and then follow with a stain.
