@@JoeAnony I was in Detroit on Level 1 and I'm pretty sure the security guard in my section was the only one enforcing the rules. He wouldn't even let us use our phones for the time before the bands even started. The dude was like 70 and yelled at everyone and flashed his flashlight which was FAR more distracting than the cell phones.

It was almost a meditative experience, their music just puts you in a trance and ignites liberation, so much lovve

The new shit is so good because it’s in Maynard’s range and he can actually comfortably belt out the notes.. and the band feels more refreshed playing it since it’s not 15+ years at the newest lol

Jack Hanney when you say that are you thinking of just playing the individual guitar or bass part? Or are you factoring in that they are using a slap back delay that has a specific timing requirement and that is keeping in synch with a live drummer and another musician with that delay effect? The magic is not on the fretboard it is in the feel of timing they have. If you did factor that in...you are probably pretty amazing too.

@@jakesbedroom on the guitar and bass it's actually a very easy song to play. The drums are just out of the world because there's no fucking way I'm gonna remember to play a that swinging beat with closing hi hats and the tabla. Carey is truly overpowered.

I'll always remember seeing them on the 17th of February this year. I brought two tickets for my sister and I as her Christmas present. She's the one who got me into them she has been a fan since undertow came out. We had the greatest night I've never seen her so happy apart from her wedding day. The night of the concert we came back from Sydney she found her husband had passed away. It's something I'll never forget this band will never know who we are but they have kept her and I together. I like to think I gave her an amazing day away from work and the kids for a night. She'll never be whole again she lost her best friend and the love of her life. But we'll always cherish this memory together and we have these guys to thank for the best concert of our lives

That night ...that the 2 of you had together... Was real...what you sister and you felt...inside of yourselves...was pure, sweet & true. I'm very grateful you were able to experience that with each other...it means a lot to her and always will. Her husband is more alive than any human could ever describe.... That's Adam playing at the beginning. Adam plays the guitar. Justin plays bass. Bass doesn't even come in till Danny does.

I saw them in Tulsa. Now, I'm not the biggest fan of their older stuff, and I am a huge fan of Fear Inoculum, but I gotta tell you... "Intolerance" stole the show. He nailed, and I do mean *nailed* the screams.

the curtain-ish thing is such an odd but actually incredible idea, the projections that they shine on it sometimes are just brought to life by that extra dimension, it really is quite the eye candy, video really doesn't do it justice!

Omg amazing show I saw at Mohegan 11/21. My favorite in the world😍....Pneuma was awesome !!!! The show was over in a blink ..everyone stood the whole time. I remember your Cult videos 😊 seeing them at Foxwoods in December.

Attending a Tool concert isn't just attending a normal concert, it just changes your life in many ways. I love this band so much.

It's a challenge... The point of the rule is to keep distractions in the colluseum minimized for everyone else (most phone screens are brighter than the stage lights). The pros know how to capture without becoming a distraction.
