An alternative to spending quite a lot extra for PaperWrld to collate products available on AliExpress would be to order from AliExpress in the first place and use the money you saved to directly support a tree planting company like Ecologi. I'm pretty sure you could save at least the £4.70 for their starter plan which apparently funds 8 trees!

I've just bought that exact same alphabet letter stamps from Amazon UK for £9.99 which is AUD18.98 at the moment, the mark up on these prices is ridiculous :)

Love your haul videos ❤ I've never bought from Paperwrld (auto correct goes crazy 😂) .... omg those prices are high! I have exact same stamp set... less than half the price. I love how honest you are about products.

I got the mo card paper/sticker pack with 4 themes from Amazon for $14 US.

I really like that you are honest. Because a lot of haul videos seem to be "this is all amazing stuff" and to you it clearly wasn't. Good to know !

I always love watching your videos! I do notice sometimes in your other sponsored hauls that their products are also from AliExpress/Wish etc., but then you usually don't seem to mention that. Your vibe seemed totally different with this video. Did this store feel different to you than other stores which also curate products? These other stores you do seem happy about. Are they cheaper or do they also sell their own designs and not just curated?

Honestly it’s partly experience - I didn’t know when I made some of the other videos that those items were available in SO many places, and I’m learning along the way. But also this store charges a lot more for the same items - sometimes three to four times as much. I’m in a very privileged position to be sent these items for free (on the condition that I’m required to make a haul video showcasing them), and I’m grateful for that, and I do genuinely recommend a few of the items (like those letter stamps? I use them constantly) but if I were a regular shopper spending my own money, it’s likely I’d skip this company based on that price difference. I’m sure there are people who are willing to pay the difference for the convenience, if the stock available here is exactly their style, and that’s fine too!

Haha, nope translation's correct Chengdu is a big city in China that prides itself in all of that, girls are pretty, spicy food and the people are laid back. I learnt that when I worked there for a bit.

Cultural differences show up in surprising ways - I absolutely feel the ick, too, but absolutely as an American feminist and not as someone who has any guess about the mindset of the notebook creator. :) (I have spent a good part of my summer explaining to Korean clients, quite feminist, why American women don’t all want to look just like Barbie, why we don’t all want to look the same “since Barbie is agreed to be the prettiest” - it literally is just a different starting point without either point having bad intention). And in the end, since neither side is wrong, one is also completely right to say, “I feel weird about this text, it just isn’t for me personally.” :)

My friend found those exact stamps on Amazon for a little cheaper than those prices. And yeah that’s pricey for so few items! They looked nice over all though!

Great video, oh gosh these prices were too much. I got the paper and stickers pack for about £4 from Aliexpress. Yes their sustainability is great but I'm not sure the prices make it worth it.
