Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

This is a growing series of videos about the various steps in the hand papermaking process. Look for other videos in the series.
I mentioned abaca (premium) and the hoze nozzle, that I got from Carriage House Paper: carriagehousepaper.com/supplies
David Reina made my beater: carriagehousepaper.com/suppli...
If you'd like to learn about every step in the papermaking process in one place, look for my books at your library or anywhere books are sold:

@@atntaltd I purchased abaca sheet pulp from Carriage House Paper. Yes, it is pre-beaten: processed from plant fiber into sheet pulp.

I’m so glad you make these videos! Although I’m sure I’ll never use more than a blender to make paper, I enjoy all the intricacies of the process. Thank you!

@@HelenHiebert your book is amazing , for armatures like myself i herd ray once said you could beat the rag pulp to make it more gelatinous HIGH SHRINKAGE , my beater unable to do that can you elaborate on that , it would be real help

@@atntaltd beating is a real art, and it varies by beater. What kind of beater do you have? Some people have to beat the pulp for 3 hours and others 15 hours to get high shrinkage. The abaca becomes gelatinous the longer you beat it, but I have not found that to be the case with cotton.
