That one was pretty neat.Definitely one of my favorites.

This is one of those small features that I really wish would return. It gave Mario and friends a lot of flair and personality, and was just fun to pull off.

One thing that the subsequent Paper Marios never kept was either the audience, or the overall theming of the combat as being a stage play. Which I think is a key part of the overall Paper Mario formula for the first two. I get why Super didn't have it, because it didn't have turn-based combat at all, but it really should have come back for Color Splash and Origami King.

Note: normal Hammer can do the multi-stylish just like Power Smash, I think the timing for quintuple stylish is the split second after you release the stick and then you quint style

Embarrassed to say I did not know of these, but it is VERY cool. "Stylish" indeed. Mario flipping, Koops spinning (breakdancing, sort of)... I need to try get a feel for the timing of these myself, once I get to start playing the undoubtedly awesome Switch remake starting late-ish next month. Very much looking forward to it! Wish I had a Capture Card. Want to get one finally, for my next birthday...in late August, haha... 😅

So they replaced this...for regular Mario enemies, generic Toads and story, stickers, cards and paint...great job

i played this game at 10 years and didnt care for story so i mostly got stuck when the game gave key points on what to do for example i got stuck in the locked locker room in chapter 3 because i forgot goombellas ability i got stuck figuring out Doopliss' name because i skipped when Vivian said you could use her ability to listen in on birds aaaand finally my stupidity got me stuck on the part with the red and blue statues at keelhaul key because i didnt know that Flavio's song was a hint. . . thankfully ive beaten the game but my 8 year old gamecube finally died last year so i cant play anymore

Your GameCube got DUSTED. It's a very common thing in GameCubes, mine have stopped working 2 times until I have to clean it again

Hopefully we'll get a Paper Mario game like the original ones again. But apart from non-generic Toads, you know what else I want? Mario's voice back. He's not exactly talkative and maybe I'm misremembering things but I don't think he even has vocal effects in Sticker Star and Colour Splash. Bring Mario's voice back!

to be completely honest i was ten years old when i first played ttyd then played sticker star at 13 and got bored of it about half way through and im 14 now and am never gonna even think of purchasing color splash because in my eyes paper mario is going down a bad road. . . of in game purchases ok nevermind thats just a joke on games these days or is it but for real BRING BACK FUN AND ORIGINAL STORY (putting the game back on console instead of 3DS would be nice to but i dont think that will happen)

woah there i think no,the own game have a limit like Paper Mario 64. in this case the stats stop increasing in...............Lv:109!! MAX HP:38 levels for 10 to 200 MAX FP:39 levels for 5 to 200 MAX BP:32 levels for 3 to 99 Any questions are aceptabel.

This mechanic was probably the best one in all of the games. They looked cool, made you feel good and rewarded you for being so good at the game, you knew how to show off.

It's like someone took the taunt mechanic from devil may cry and put it into this game. I always loved doing these moves!
