Thank you! You revived my printer! I don't use it for a year due this problem. Hint: Instead of grease, I think it's better to use "Vaseline" here. unfortunatelly It came my mind after applying grease. Thanks again. :D

no dont use it, fuser heat will smoke it. Use high temperature durable grease. At least 300 degree celcius

Don't forget to turn off the printer and wait a few minutes. The roller is very burning to the touch. Use some light grease or even a small droplet of engine oil, and put it as far as possible at each end of the lower roller (you want to reach a bearing located right at the end of the roller on each of it's sides). You may want to incline the printer on each side when applying the grease/oil, so as to make it leak at the very end of the roller. If grease or oil gets on the upper roller, use a small piece of tissue (watch your fingers), keep it pressed slightly against the rollers and with a small stick depress and release inside the hole right below the power button- there is a switch that will make the rollers turn for a few seconds.

I'm glad it helped. When I did like in the video, the paper would stop folding but would came back folding once in a while. After using the printer for about 30-40 prints, the folding has completely disappeared and the pages come out as they should ever since. So a bit of patience is good for the right results. There is no need to keep adding oil because too much can leak inside the printer. Not shown in the video but later on I tried the same but with 1-2 droplet of engine oil (not cooking oil) at each end while inclining the printer so the oil goes to the very end of the roll. One such treatment was enough.

Good idea about vaseline!

It worked on mine as well. I used Krytox PFPE grease. Its expensive, but it will not react to the plastics nor break them down over time. PFPE is non-reactive and is non-combustible, but its a bit expensive.

It may work at least for a while, the roller is very hot but the bearings have lower temperature.

Unfortunately it doesn't work with my printer....any other solutions

Incline the printer to the left side, then carefully apply a small droplet of engine oil to the very end of the left side of the drum. Have the drum rotate a few times then repeat on the right side.

We need to be careful with any grease, because it may contaminate the drum. A small drop of engine oil has better chance to leak where the roller bearing sits, and each extremity of the roller. It's these bearings that get stuck when the printer is pushing the paper out, causing the paper to fold. It's all about trying to lubricate these bearings (which are not visible).
